Definitely is not an oversized coat the way it is displayed on the picture. If u want it oversized you should go up two sizes, even then it might be to short.

I'm really impressed with this coat! It was vacuum sealed flat in a plastic bag when it arrived but fluffed up beautifully when I shook it out! 15 minutes in the dryer (no heat) and it looks just like the product photo and also got rid of all the loose lint and threads so that nothing came off of the coat onto my clothes. It is 30F here today. I tested out the coat by going outside wearing this coat over a tanktop. I stood outside for a few minutes until my legs (thick leggings but unlined) and face were tingly but I could not feel the cold air at all wherever this coat was covering me! Even my bare arms were WARM under the coat! I was careful about the zipper since I read several reviews complaining about the zipper. There's a flap of fabric that runs along the length of the zipper that I had to tuck into the coat before zipping it up, but other than that, I had no problems with my zipper. The flap of fabric is what keeps the cold air from entering through the zipper (and what keeps the cold zipper away from your body) so it's not a design flaw! I normally wear a medium and I ordered a medium. It's the perfect amount of bagginess for me (loose and luxuriously fluffy without looking like a sack of potatoes) and the perfect length for leggings (it just covers my bum). I'm 5'2", 115lbs. The sleeves are a little long and cover my knuckles if I pull them all the way down, but, in this case, they keep my hands warm so I don't mind. Overall this coat is super versatile and can be dressed up or down. I think it's a super value at this price!

This is a nice jacket, especially for the price. However, I removed one star from the rating because the color of the "blue" jacket represented in the Amazon photos is wildly inaccurate. It's not even close to a similar shade of blue. I attached my own photo. I tried to capture the actual color of this jacket in the photo, but it wasn't easy. I would describe the actual color as a very dark navy/teal. I see a lot of teal in the undertones in daylight lighting. The color in my photo is a close representation, but not exact. The actual color is very nice overall. The jacket itself is well-made and pretty cute. It is kind of boxy and lacks structure, but it is a loose-fitting teddy jacket. The pockets are fairly large. The sleeves weren't short on me. I'd say they fit just right, and the length of the jacket comes below the hip bones to about the upper thigh area. It is a very soft jacket. It is the same fluffy teddy material inside and outside, so it doesn't have an inner lining. Which is fine, because most people love the softness to be on the inside of the jacket too. I saw reviews where people struggled with zipping the jacket up, but I didn't have that problem. I simply folded the flap of material by the zipper under, and it made zipping up the jacket quick and easy. I ordered a size large, which is one size up from my regular clothing size. I generally buy all of my coats and jackets in a size large. The fit of this jacket on me is a bit oversized, so it fits similarly to the original Amazon photos. Overall, I would recommend it, if you are in the market for a very soft, lightweight yet very warm, simple teddy jacket.

On day1 of wearing it, zipper caught in fibers of jacket over and over, eventually causing zipper to break off of zipper track which is obviously the cheapest poorest quality and it was a struggle to get it to zip at all. Paid too much for this and expected a jacket to wear all winter. Not one day.

UPDATE: I bought the camel color in March 2019 and LOVED it but it wore quickly on the back side where I sat on it, so decided to treat myself to another one but this time in gray. The coat is TOTALLY different now! It's not as thick, the pockets aren't as deep and made differently and there's no tag with the brand name stitched into the collar. I would go out on a limb and say it's a totally different supplier now or the supplier changed how they make this coat. I still need to wash and wear it to tell but was very disappointed it's not as thick and cozy. This coat is literally like wearing a giant teddy bear! Super cozy and the small has the oversized shape I'd hoped for-I'm 110 pounds, 5 feet tall and normally wear a size 2. This is the camel color, which doesn't match the camel sample color shown at all, which is why I'm giving this 4 rather than 5 stars. I do like this color so I plan to keep it. I also noticed the coats have a couple of different styles depending on color so pay attention to that when ordering. This one is a pea coat style while others have zippers. I like this style because I think it looks stylish buttoned or unbuttoned. It's also a little warmer than I expected so hoping it will work for chilly Indiana spring and fall mornings that warm up to the 40s and 50s during the day without being too hot. I'll update my review, if and when I have shredding issues like others have mentioned but out of package and trying it on a few times, I haven't noticed one piece come off. Great item, especially for the price!
