I have bought 3 of these Bikes,they charge fast and last long on battery,tough bikes for street riding or trails.Rides very smooth and quiet.Do Not waste your money on anything other bike under 1000 watts period.I highly-recommend this bike,and customer service is outstanding if you have an issue.

I bought one of these. When it arrived it took me about 30-40 minutes to unpack and assemble from the box. Instructions are easy to follow. Tools and parts well organized. Once assembled and air in the tires, I scrambled off on an 18-mile test run without pre-charging. Here's what I discovered... which is probably true for any off-the-shelf bike. 1. The seat kinda stinks. So I swapped it out with a super comfy one used to upgrade my 25 year old Marin some years back. Problem solved. 2: The handle bar post is not high enough for my liking. So I bought a Outerdo 1 1/8 inch bike fork extender. Problem solved. Now that the bike is properly fitted, here are my other observations. This bike is pretty much perfect for my situation. I'm 65 and my days of peddling like a maniac are over. The bike has a throttle but the best use of the electric power is by using one of 5 pedal assist modes. Mode 1 provides nominal boost, but crank is up to 5 and you can easily peddle yourself to 20MPH and beyond (Always wear a helmet!). The best mode for overall banging around town and battery life is 3. The boost from either throttle or peddling can take a little getting used to, particularly at low speeds, when I'm typically cranking full out on traditional bikes. A higher speeds on mode 5, peddling is actually very leisurely compared to what you'd expect on a regular bike. Care must be taken not to propel yourself faster than you're ready for. I like a mirror but the handlebar ends are closed off which prevents mounting it in the most logical spot. I'll need to figure out a plan B. Initial battery charging took 4 hours to achieve 100%. The instruction book says to recharge after every use. I'm wondering if that's actually necessary. I did run out of juice about a mile from home on the first run. The bike is heavy but no worse than the Schwinn Heavy Duty I had from my paper route as a kid. With a 7-gear Shimano shifter I got home no problem. Like virtually all tech, there are shortages of spare parts. I bought a spare battery so I can always have at least one fully charged but they're out of stock for 4 -6 weeks. And I got and installed the rear rack from Ecotric. It fits perfectly. So far the bike has been a hoot to ride. I'll follow up if I discover anything significant as I get more use this summer.

The bike arrived packed well and intact. But after 1500 miles, there are design issues that cause failure because low quality low tlc for a long lasting bike. Not happy with quality and integrity for safety of the design

I seldom write reviews...this is one of the rare examples where I feel compelled. Purchased the Ecotric Seagull 1000w ebike about a month ago. Have to say this bike is a blast. Not only do I get compliments on the style/design, it MOVES! I have lived in the same community for 20+ years and have seen more neighborhoods and bike trails in 30 days than I have in the last 5 years. Get out and explore...this bike is the bomb. Only downside I see is that I need two...as I leave my son in the dust on his traditional (non-ebike) bicycle.

Following are the highlights: Advantages: - Battery life is really good - Approx that will last around 20 miles on a single charge without padling. - Can be used for commute because of powerful motor - Digital odometer with alot of information - Backlight is integrated within battery - Baclight also include break light functionality - Silent motor not too much noisy - Accurate readings on odometer - Sturdy strong frame - All the cables are really well managed. It looks clean no cluster at all. - Easy to assemble - Instructions are well explained and easy to follow Disadvantages: - Bike is very heavy. - Switching gears make tuk tuk noise and gives noticeable jerk. - While riding weird noise is coming out of rear wheel. Its like tik tik tik tuk tik tik tuk tuk tik :D I don't know how to explain it. - Rear brakes make noise. Like Zurrr :D and its loud. Its like two very heavy metal plates rubbed against each other with great pressure. - No front light came just a reflector. You should provide front light with bike for this price. - Seat is very rigid and uncomfortable. I bought extra padded seat cover to ride it otherwise its unbearable you can't ride it for a mile with provided seat. Seat quality should be improved. - Rear rack isn't included in the package. That should be included. Atleast optional. If someone needs it, can get it for free. Its expensive and the only one compatible with the bike. Overall thought: I like the bike quality wise. It looks sturdy and solid. High quality material is used. Its expensive than other available bikes on Amazon. But it worth the few extra bucks. I am hoping to have it for a long time. Will provide more insights later on based on user experience. Support is really awesome. My bike came with faulty odometer. I contacted them via email. They responded quickly and sent a replacement. That worked. I recommend to get this one. This bike is awesome. You will love it. I will try to fix the noises coming out of rear wheel and update the review. This is the only reason I am giving four stars otherwise its a five star product.

I did have a little trouble with this bike early on but I'd have to say this seller handled the issue impressively well. I think my occurrence was a bit uncommon but they were able to replace the back wheel when I ran into a problem. I think it is important to know that the front breaks are on the right and back on the left. Other than these uncommon occurrences, I feel this is a pretty decent bike. Built very solid, and lots of fun to ride and battery life is pretty good. I get about 30 miles out of it. With just the motor you can go about 20mph but you can go a little faster using pedal assist. Overall I'm pretty happy with this bike.
