The EcoPure pleated filter (2 pack) reduces sediment, sand, silt, and rust, which will extend the life of water using appliances. These filters fit most other brands of whole house water filtration systems. The EcoPure string wound filter is the universal size meaning it is compatible with GE, Whirlpool, Culligan, Omni, DuPont, Filtrete, 3M, Watts and most standard size water filtration systems. This is not being used for RO just to house the above filters placed in connection with each other. I have placed these parts in combination and have changed the water Quality of my dirty tasting and sometimes fish tank smelling water. To water that looks smells and tastes as good as or better than the bottled water I have been drinking for the last years. And @ $4.00 a week the initial cost is recuperated in as short as 8 weeks. This breaks down to $0.47 cents a day down from $0.57 cents for fresh clean water not in plastic bottles to be heated up in my vehicle. Not to include that I have been adding to the landfills by emptying Plastic bottles at the rate of 40 plus a week… This was and is a great investment in my health...
