Same as the previous customer, the adhesive is remarkably strong, it disassembles the paper backing, rendering the stickers unusable. Upon their arrival, the stickers are already irreparably damaged and rendered useless. EDIT: Changed rating from 1 star, you'll need nails to peel off the strong adhesive. These skins are actually a little more textured (in a good way!) than some of the more expensive options. They were precisely die cut and look and feel great.

    • The Reason These Are Inexpensive Is Because They Are Cheap.

You'll have to add your own adhesive since the paper that the stickers are stuck isn't supposed to come off. Seriously, the adhesive they used for this are probably made by 4¾M not 3M. The paper does not come off the sticker and the cutting went too deep into the paper. They used left over adhesive from the re-entry tiles on the space shuttle on these things. Imagine how these will stick to your Steam Deck. What if you wanted to remove them? Do you just replace the trackpads completely? I was going to just eat the $6 that I paid for these but that would not be fair to me. They are going back for a refund so they know that they should be paying people to take these off their hands. These are not worth the paper they are glued to. Actually, is it an adhesive? Can you weld vinyl to paper with metal? Realize that "cheap" does not always mean "inexpensive". I bought some from another "brand" a year ago for my LCD Steam Deck and those were fine. They were $12 though and thinking that they are probably the same as the old ones I got these. Hard to tell with the pics, but only real complaint is that the sticker didn't wanna come off the backing. It just ripped right up with it. But, just had to carefully dig my nail under to separate it without bending the sticker too much. Not that big a deal, but still, for this price point on a couple stickers you'd think they wouldn't skimp on the ease of application. ... show more

Have to make sure it's lined up correctly, other than that, I love these trackpad covers. Without them the pads are too smooth and slippery. The hexagon pattern works great for grip.
