Description

Ecolution Original Microwave Micro-Pop Popcorn Popper, Borosilicate Glass, 3-in-1 Silicone Lid, Dishwasher Safe, BPA Free, 1.5 Quart - Snack Size, Red. Troubleshoot: HOW MICROWAVES WORK : Microwave ovens heat by producing electromagneticwaves that cause water molecules in food to vibrate. This vibration produces heat. Microwaves do not “see” glass or plastic. Never place the popper in the microwave oven empty. Damage to your oven can occur. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION : Read before use : It is very important to use fresh kernels that have not dried out and to store them in an airtight container to maintain their moisture. Popcorn kernels do not last indefinitely. Do not refrigerate kernels as this can dry them out. Do not use kernels past the manufacture's expiration date. WARNING! Dried out kernels can cause damage to your microwave and in extreme cases, even cause fires. Based on our kitchen tested time of 2½ minutes (without butter), average for most microwaves, popping should begin in 60-90 seconds. Understand your microwave by running a few tests with fresh kernels to establish the amount of time your microwave needs to pop the kernels optimally. Pay attention to the amount of time it takes for kernels to begin to pop. Use this as a guideline for future uses to avoid burning. IF KERNELS HAVE NOT STARTED TO POP WITHIN 2 MINUTES STOP THE OVEN, DISCARD THE KERNELS AND OBTAIN NEW, FRESH KERNELS.

  • Makes great popcorn
Size: 3-Quart Family Size Color: Teal
I was skeptical about purchasing this because popcorn in the microwave always seems to burn and not taste great, well this didn’t do that. This makes great tasing popcorn, so easy to use and pops perfectly every time, cleanup is a breeze too. You can add your own seasonings and butter …. Delicious!

  • The best thing I’ve bought for my popcorn habit
Size: 3-Quart Family Size Color: Yellow
I use this thing all the time and love it. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, and the popcorn comes out perfect every time. I like that I can make as much or as little as I want without wasting anything. I used to use microwave bags, but this tastes better and there’s no weird chemicals or burnt pieces. Definitely worth it if you eat a lot of popcorn. ... show more

  • Love your pop corn?
Size: 3-Quart Family Size Color: Red
This is a very good popcorn popper. I bought the 3 quart size, when popping is finished I have the popper full to the top. I love that it's easy to use, the lid is used to measure your pop corn and you can put your butter on the lid also. In my micro wave, it takes about 4 minutes to finish popping. You must use a pot holder or glove to remove it from the micro wave, because it does get very hot. I then pour mine into a bowl, flavor it as I please and enjoy every morsel of pop corn. I highly recommend this popper over others I have purchased in the past. ... show more

  • The best popper ever
Size: 1.5-Quart Snack Size Color: Aqua
The best popcorn popper I have ever seen 😋. Easy clean up. Makes fantastic popcorn. Our microwave makes it in 2min 20seconds. The butter melts over the top while it's cooking. You can also make the popcorn without butter. This is the perfect size for one. The popcorn stays warm if you eat it directly out of the popper. No extra bowl needed. Warning-this could make popcorn addictive LOL. I love that it is glass so you aren't getting any toxic chemicals from the popper. I highly recommend this popper. Pop's all but 5 kernels. I used Orville Redenbachers out of the jar. ... show more

  • Honest appraisal
Size: 3-Quart Family Size Color: Red
So I live by myself. I'm a world-renowned popcornholic. At least I like to believe that. This popper was received just yesterday and I made the full three quart batch of popcorn using some old Orville Redenbacher that expired a couple of years ago. Popped it right up to the top. Big mistake was that I ate the whole darn thing and wasn't hungry for dinner until 8:00. Threw my schedule out of whack. So here's a couple secrets: If you're living by yourself, just make one scoop. I kept mine in for 2:40, but like they say, every microwave is different. Hardly had any old maids but I'd rather have a few old maids than burnt popcorn. (For those of you not in the know, an old maid is an unpopped kernel). Take your popcorn and immediately pour it into a big bowl. Bounce the bowl up and down for like 20 seconds or more to release all the steam and make the popcorn crunchy. Season it with salt or whatever. I put soft butter on the lid to melt while it was popping and it worked perfectly. Yummo! If you're going to make more than one batch, let the popper set for a couple minutes to avoid stress on the glass. That glass gets hot! Don't burn yourself.. not my idea of a good time. I used to make my popcorn in a big old pot, poured it into a Trader Joe's paper bag and shook the steam out. I put butter into the pot to melt and poured it over the paper bag and gave it a few more shakes. After salting it was delicious. But also kind of a hassle. Problem now is, this is so simple it'll probably be having popcorn darn near every day. Break down and make the purchase! This popper is a winner!! ... show more

  • Works okay but not the ideal popper I was hoping for.
Size: 3-Quart Family Size Color: Teal
I was excited to try this after the glowing reviews I read here. The reasons were that the handle seemed to solve a problem I’ve had with our current microwave popper. With our current one, you have to pick it up at the rim of the popper, which is very hot. With the handle on this one, I felt it may solve this issue. It does, but the popper itself is a bit of a disappointment. While the lid/butter dispenser is a nice touch for melting butter as it pops, it doesn’t hold enough butter for me to make it worthwhile. There are also kernels that are unpopped, which could be related to fresh corn, but I keep unpopped corn in a sealed container when not in use. Pros: Handy handle to hold onto when corn is popped. The measuring cup top is used to measure the proper amount of corn. This top also doubles as a butter reservoir to melt butter over the corn as it is popped. Diswasher safe. Cons: The measuring cup top is just okay if you don’t like a lot of butter on your corn. Some unpopped corn on each batch. Popcorn tends to stick to the sides of the popper, and loosening it with your hand risks a burn as the popper is very hot. For the casual popcorn fan or someone in a small apartment with limited storage space, this will do the trick. ... show more
