Great for flying spirit airlines! I am a chronic overpacker and this thing fit everything i needed! I was surprised how durable it was and that it could fit more than anticipated. It was comfortable carrying it around the airport and my shoulders weren’t hurting so much. They have a lot of different pockets, which is great for storing different items and making room for souvenirs. The only thing that would make it look big, is if you stuff the front pockets. I took out my electronics bag and it fits in the sizer.

I looked at all leading brands and the economical ones like Matein, Anelin, Taygeer etc. This one fulfilled all of the 10 requirements I have: 1. Padded laptop compartment 2. Laptop compartment located in the back closer to the shoulder straps for ergonomic balance 3. Side handle for carrying like a duffle bag 4. Stretch water bottle holder to fit larger metal water bottles 5. Secure pocket for valuable documents 6. 180 degree opening 7. Light weight 8. Water resistant 9. No shoe compartment - which is wasted space . Also the holes will allow water to seep thru and potential insects. 10. Quick access storage in the top - useful during Airport security to stow away phones, watches, coins, glasses etc. Very well constructed. Zippers are smooth. Enough zippered compartments and main storage area is wide and open. Good design overall. I have done extensive research on carry on backpacks, this one is the best you can buy at this price point !

Clam shell works terrific. I bought the 17” because 3 airlines 3 different personal items for under seat sizes. 17,18 and 22. So I chose the one that would fit under all. Everything worked. Zippers, clasps. Material held up through 5 flights. I fit a ton of things in it and I did use my own packing cube. Zipper pockets were well placed and thought out. Use it as your personal item and bring a carry on, no need for a checked bag. Recommend.

This bag has a lot of compartments and flexibility. We used our bags for a one week out if the country trip. We each were able to take work and casual outfits and one extra pair of shoes. It fit several outfits, undergarments, a liquids bag, a snack bag and my makeup bag, a notebook, and of course chargers and there's a top pocket for my passport and eye mask and ear plugs. I did use a mesh compression bag for my clothes. The zippers were strong, just don't know if they would last for years? I did see some stitching show through when the bag was full, though I had no problems during use. Also, this bag lacks the weight distribution features such as chest & waist straps. My shoulders were a little sore after a long day of travel. Otherwise, a great bag.

United has new rules for bag sizes. This small backpack is the correct size, and it is amazing, so well made and with very good quality materials including so many pockets all zippered and it seems to maximize what I can put in it, the bag is designed to be a small backpack and has well designed padded shoulder straps and the back of the pack is padded as well. I can tell this will last a very long time and will be so nice to travel with. Do not hesitate to purchase this for your personal item bag if flying on United, it is so worth the price.

This eco hub 17” backpack has plenty of pockets, a water bottle pouch on the side, a padded computer compartment, cinch straps on each side and a nice pocket for my passport and other essentials. It’s relatively light. I think it is 27 L. Fully packed it still fit under the seat as a personal item. The main compartment opens like a suitcase. I fit 2 pairs dress pants, 3 tops, 2 swim pants, 2 rash guards, underwear, pajamas, a bath bag, towel, sandals, and electronic cord bag. I do pack clothes in compression bags. In addition I carried a kindle, iPad, snacks, shawl, and miscellaneous small items. I could use it easily as a weekend bag. At 5’2” I can carry it fully packed with relative ease despite my older years. The only drawback is the backpack does not have a sleeve to tuck the straps in. I tuck them under the luggage strap and there is a strap to tie them down. However you still need to be careful when placing it under the seat or the straps can get in the way. The luggage strap would fit any handleif the pack is not full. I did find it difficult to slip over my luggage handle as the backpack was totally filled and the strap had little give. A stretchy luggage strap would be better. It has a sternum strap but not a waist strap. The side cinch straps make this backpack appear quite small so I plan to use it as a computer bag for work with the sides cinched.
