I added this as a second kickstand to my 90 lb EV long tail cargo bike, a Blix Packa Genie. It is sturdy enough to hold the bike up when the ground is level. It is easier to use than the double kickstand under the pedals since I do not have to lift the bike up. Easy to install and extra bolts create tight sturdy fit on oval shaped frame, which is lower than most bikes since it is designed for kickboards for kids riding on back. Because it is in the shortest position it is not expected to work on nonlevel ground and will use the double kickstand instead in those cases. As you can see by the review photos this kick stand not being used as initially intended for but however its hard to find a bike trailer kickstand on a budget so I decided to check out regular rear mount kickstands. At first I I kept over looking this thinking it was junk and the 4 hex pin were a gimmick but boy was i wrong. After searching for a few more hours I decided to take a gamble and im glad I did cause most others mounting brackets would be to small due to my trailer tongue being thicker then I expected, so much so I had to remove the inner grip pads to get it to fit. Due to how thick the metal is on the mounting bracket I was able to torque the heck out of 3 large hex nuts (no pun intended) to prevent the kickstand from shifting. Those 4 like hex studs or whatever you want to call them came out to be real handy even though I didn't use the grip pads the allowed me to screw them in tight to press up against the trailer tongue to where the gripped the tube themselves ( im not worry about the powder coat) one installed and adjustable to proper height. Since my trailer is rated for 275lbs pay load and I only plan on hauling 100 - 150lbs max I decided to hop in it (im 130lbs soaking wet) to see if the kickstand would hold, it did, no shifting no bending no nothing. Honestly it held up better then expected since bike stands are only meant to hold the weight of the bike, so I decided to move around on the trailer to shift my weight around, then I shock it back and forth and the kick stand did not budge and held up beautifully. For only $20 this is a good deal and well worth it. Ooh in case yall are interested cause I couldn't find the answer nor could amazon when I asked the AI bot thing but it does come with both Allen wrenches. I would but this kickstand again if I ever needed another kickstand. ... show more

I agree with the previous reviews where the rubber foot falls off. I installed and tested and the rubber foot fell off. There was a small splattering of glue in the foot that is not going to stick to the aluminum stand. I drilled a pilot hole from the rear and ran in a self tapping screw. The first screw broke off which was my fault. Although it will act as a pin and hold the foot on, I decided to install another screw. This kickstand is good and bad. The kickstand is heavy duty and will hold up a heavy bike. It had a nice spring action when it was brand new. After 30 days past the return period. I maybe only used the kickstand less than 10 times. The rubber bushing that moves the kickstand is what failed. Pieces of the rubber started falling off with each swing of the kickstand. The kickstand no longer has the "Spring" it use to because of the rubber bushing falling apart. Yes the kickstand still functions but it doesn't work like it did brand new. I knew about the rubber foot falling off, so before I even installed the kickstand I used more glue to hold it on. The Rubber foot hasn't fallen off. I also used Blue threadlocker on the adjustment bolt which others have said would become loose. It's a heavy duty kickstand but it does have flaws. I hope the company can improve on the rubber bushing material used. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Sturdy everything worked well until i lost the rubber shoe that kept coming off... after receiving a replacement, I immediately superglued the boot and because the tightening srews kept getting loose, I added some lock nuts to the back of the tightening screws for extra hold since they become loose over time it seems. But with my added customizations, its been great. ... show more
