It easy to put on and and easy to adjust. My old kick stand caused the bike to lean to much. This one the you can adjust it to where there almost no lean which makes it more stable. It fits my bike just fine even though it's for a mountain bike. Seems solid and sturdy. Time will be the determining factor on it's sturdiness. But I would definitely get this kickstand. If you bought ebike and kick stand doesn't seem to support the weight. There heavier and tend to fall over if the kickstand isn't right more then a normal bike. ... show more

We purchased this kickstand for my son’s mountain bike. He rides it to and from school everyday so he needed to be able to have a freestanding bike. So far the kickstand has worked perfectly. The screws were almost to short for the installation so if you have a larger bike a trip to the hardware store may be in your future. ... show more

I agree with the previous reviews where the rubber foot falls off. I installed and tested and the rubber foot fell off. There was a small splattering of glue in the foot that is not going to stick to the aluminum stand. I drilled a pilot hole from the rear and ran in a self tapping screw. The first screw broke off which was my fault. Although it will act as a pin and hold the foot on, I decided to install another screw. Despite claims to the contrary, this kickstand is not suitable for use on round or nearly round chainstay tubing. The extra set of set screws claimed to secure the kickstand is worthless. Even more alarming is that the screw intended to permit adjustment of the leg length does not tighten enough to prevent the sliding section from moving back in. As if that were not enough, the rubber foot comes off easily and cannot be secured without adhesive. I regret not returning it within the time window. It’s headed for the recycling bin. ... show more

    • VERY stable kickstand that I modified to fit my electric scooter.

This kickstand provides an extremely stable leg for my electric scooter to lean against when it is not being ridden. Although I own a minimotors dualtron scooter that I paid $3,500 for, the kickstand has ALWAYS been crappy! I modified this kickstand to fit my scooter and I could not be happier or safer. The stock stand was constantly falling open while riding - which led to more than one accident. This new kickstand (by virtue of a stronger spring and better design}, stays firmly in place when folded and then locks down with a quick kick of your foot to hold the scooter in place. I don't ride rough offroad trails anymore - so I was going to sell my 15 year old Specialized StumpJumper FS Comp 29er and get a hardtail bike for street riding. But I like it, and so I decided to just convert it to be more street oriented. The knobbies were the first to go because they kind of chose on their own to leave when I was leaned over hard in a fast corner on clean pavement. I never knew my bike was quiet until I put street tires on it.. Taller handlebars, a bigger seat - and my StumpJumper was the perfect Urban Assault bike. The only thing I was missing was the convenience of a kickstand. Yes - I could lean it up against the glass wall at the burger place when I went in - but every kid that passed it had to touch it - which made it react by falling. I tried 2 other kickstands and they either wouldn't bolt up - or wouldn't stay put. This one does the trick. FWIW: My bike is the 23" (XXL), and it still has adjustment left in the kickstand. ... show more
