It looks nice, is moderately sturdy (will see after snow flies) but the vertical 2 green straps around the entry were way too long. I wrote to the company and received no response. Lots of pieces to put together. Arrived with several broken pieces - flimsy plastic. My husband managed to make it work even though one of the peaks of the roof is broken - essential part to be able to remove roof to clean. Concerned that floor won't hold up. We ordered an XL for our 13 year old, 85 lb lab mix, who does not want to come indoors. Needed the high opening for his ease of getting in and out, since his back hips are bad. He barely fits. I would not recommend this for any dog larger than 85 lbs. Emailed company as per enclosed instructions for replacement parts. Received confirmation of email and told we would hear back within 1 business day - still no response since March 26th. Expensive for the quality and lack of response from the company to make good on broken parts. ... show more

I was totally leery based on the reviews here. It arrived, box was in tact, contents were well packaged not damaged and it had instructions! It was simple to put together, many of the parts join together (like a laminate floor), one brace was slightly warped, but it will work fine. The final piece of the roof shows the top may leak (caulking will work), it's not an issues as our dogs pen is covered, his name is Floyd and he is a 155-120lb Rottweiler. Newagepet makes houses for dogs and chickens but they don't make one for geese, but this bunkhouse is a great fit for my tall gander and his two young pals overnight. Geese don't need total weather protection, so the open doorway is fine for them when oriented away from prevailing winds. This is my third structure in the company's Ecoflex composite and I really like the material for its washability and durability. I assembled their Fontana chicken house for my two ducks and trust me, cleaning is essential. We don't call them mucky ducks for nothing! Excellent company, customer service to be proud of. My back yard was nearly destroyed by Ida (09/01/21) but after digging tons of felled tree debris away, the Fontana coop was completely intact. Amazing, considering heavy outdoor garden furniture was a loss. Love this stuff! ... show more

I just received my package. I have contacted the manufacturer to replace a broken piece so I wont have to try to pack this all up and send it back. Everything needs assembling, all the slats ! Too much for me but I'm going to try the best I can to put it together. If not, I've saved all the packaging material and back it goes and I will chose a different dog house. ... show more

I was worrying the product would be cheap by some of the reviews. It was easy to put together and really quite sturdy when you follow directions. My dog weighs 100 lbs. and he fits easily and the material it is made of is similar to the Trex deck material. Very durable. Believe me, this doghouse is good and big.
