The sink is way below my expectation. It’s been only 2 months and the sink started rusting at some spots. It’s not coated or sealed so the water does not drain properly & residues keep stuck on the sink leaving marks. I would not recommend this.

Upon purchasing my dream cabin in the woods, I faced a paramount task: modernizing the kitchen without forsaking its rustic charm. And lo and behold, the EcoChannels 15x15x10-inch Drop-In Kitchen Sink became the metaphorical and quite literal centerpiece of my remodeling efforts. Don't let its simple title fool you. This 16-gauge T-304 stainless steel wonder is akin to an epic poem hidden in an unassuming title, "The Odyssey", perhaps? Made for more than RVs and wet bars, it quietly demanded my attention with its sturdy elegance. Installation was a breeze, like placing a cherry atop a sundae. The “drop-in” part of the sink name wasn't exaggerating. One could say it plopped into place with the grace of a seasoned diver making his winning plunge. The single bowl design held more than I ever anticipated, accommodating my largest pasta pot with room to spare. Not to mention, its stainless steel surface repelled both stains and my darkest fears of kitchen cleanup. But oh, the gauge! Its 16-gauge steel construction proved as stalwart as a knight, standing firm against the onslaught of my most intense cooking days. If I had a nickel for every time I gazed lovingly at my reflection in its near-mirrored finish while waiting for the kettle to boil, well, I’d have enough to buy another one. Not that I need another one – this sink is clearly built to outlast the pyramids. In short, the EcoChannels Drop-In Kitchen Sink is more than a mere basin to contain my culinary aftermath. The undermount style was new to me, but it's totally worth it – so clean and smooth. It's perfect for light tasks, produce rinsing, and more. The 16-gauge stainless steel is no joke – durable and not too noisy. The extra touches like the bottom grid and roll-up rack are the cherry on top. We used this sink for an outdoor kitchen. I didn't need a huge sink, just something to wash hands or clean a pot or two. Set up was easy, So far I haven't had any issues. Overall a great sink.

The entire outside of the sink is covered with a rubbery paint and there are large thick sound deadening pads. We ordered this 10x18 for an undermount install in a prep area. It was packed well and there are no defects. The corner radius is tight but large enough to allow a sponge to clean the corners. ... show more
