Description

ECMRAD Aluminum Radiator is produced and designed to provide maximum cooling efficiency to prevent engine cooling failure. It is made of full aluminum light-weight, and high-heat transferring aluminum features a tube and fin design that, dramatically increases surface area that enables the heat to dissipate more efficiently. It has an increased durability over the factory plastic end tank radiator, and much inmprovwed engine cooling. Most importantly, it has a much higher capacity for coolant than stock ones, which means that your cooling system will be more efficient and will be more resistant to temperature surges in racing applications. Bad produc since I bought the radiator it had a small leak I tried to contact the seller's store, but I was never successful I actually do not recommend this product it is better to buy in a store.

    • Well built, almost fits perfectly
Radiator arrived within a week of when I ordered it. It appears to be well built, although I was a little disappointed when I saw the "Made in China" sticker. I've not had good luck with Chinese parts and try to avoid them whenever I can. The installation went well; everything fit almost perfectly. The big issue was, the electric fan mounts about 1/2 inch back from the radiator. Not much, but just enough that I wasn't able to get the fan shroud on. So I took the electric fan out, put the shroud over the water pump fan, and was able to work the electric fan back in place. This was not easy; it immediately jammed, took about a half hour to work it free, and involved a lot of cussing. Hopefully (!) I didn't damage the radiator doing this. So it pressure checks and looks like it'll be ok. I'll run a couple more pressure checks over the next few days. Return date is in about three weeks, hopefully if it checks ok until then it'll last. My truck was running hot after installing this radiator. I done a full system flush before installing. Wound up having the original radiator fixed.

Starting leaking from the fins And has a pin hole

    • Mounting to Frame is too short.
The mounting bracket to the frame on the driver's side was short by roughly an inch. I tried to move the rubber bushings out a little to adjust but that wouldn't cut it and could be dangerous. Everything else looked OK.
