Huge upgrade over the stock radiator in my 88 Suburban. The truck has ran a little warm at times and pushed out some coolant ever since I put a 400 sbc in it. Put this radiator in with a new thermostat (good practice when everything is apart), and it ran the coolest I have ever seen it on a couple hour test drive last night. The fit was good. The only modification I had to make was to trim an extra lip off of the back of the fan shroud, and a bit of material off of the clamps that go over top of the core support. With my band saw, it probably took 10 mins to trim all three pieces. The welds all looked great,so I don't expect any issues with leaking. Definitely a good value for your money. ... show more

Nice radiator, I’ve installed many and this one stripped the trans line immediately without tightening it very much, solved the problem with an aftermarket trans cooler.

Great radiator but wider than original. Used in my 85 k2500, made my own brackets, and used longer screws for shroud, works great and much better than one that was in truck
