I actually really love this as a backup tent, but only in nice weather. I recently took it camping with us on the St. Lawrence River, and one of my friends used it as their primary tent for a few nights. It was fantastic when the weather was good. I got the two-man, and it really fit one adult comfortably. The roof and sides of the tent itself are all mesh, so it feels much larger inside, and the views are spectacular with the rainfly off. The tub floor is sturdy and great for keeping the rain out. The tent itself is well-made, lightweight, and very easy to set up. However, it rained a few nights when we were there, and the tent leaked. At first it wasn't terrible, a small spot in the front corner near the hole for cords. But, one night, the wind started picking up to around 25-30 mph, and it leaked enough that my friend had to abandon it or risk getting soaked. We checked all the zippered connections but couldn't locate any holes or reason for the leak other than the design of the rainfly—it is very snug and just barely covers the mesh. This is fine in low wind, but the higher winds really pushed the gap open and allowed the water to come through. Plus the mesh itself doesn't have an internal zip-up fly for bad weather like most tents do; this would have kept the rain out. I feel like this is a bit of a design flaw if the intention is to use this tent in "all seasons". I understand adding in zippered flaps to secure the mesh in bad weather would take away from the spacious feeling and open views, but it would also make the tent a lot more secure against the elements. As it is now, this is really only good for light rain; I certainly wouldn't want to weather a storm in it. All told, I still think it's a great fair-weather tent. The mesh-heavy design makes for an unusual experience in such a small tent, and, as I car camp, it's easy to bring it along. It's so small and quick to set up I really do enjoy having it with me on those really beautiful nights. But I wouldn't hike out with it or trust it to be my primary tent in anything other than perfect weather, and even then, only for a night or two.

This tent is easy and simple to set up, making it easy for anyone to use. The tent is made of mesh so it is well ventilated and cool. There is a separate rain top on top, so you can cover the roof when it rains or blocks the scorching sun. Two people can sleep comfortably and three people can also use it. So, I set this tent up and am nothing but disappointed with it. The bag it comes in is 2x bigger than it needs to be. Not that a bigger bag is a terrible thing, more on this later. The tent itself sets up easy, using clips to the poles, like many other tents out their. This part is good. The tent is a 2 person, maybe 3 if you sleep shoulder to shoulder. The length is decent, at 5'9" my head and feet don't touch the ends at the same time. The tent is mostly mesh with a "bathtub" floor. The floor comes up pretty high too. Then you have a rainfly for privacy and waterproofing (kind of). The problems with this tent is that, when set up, the walls are saggy and not very taught at all. The rainfly fits terribly. Even if you tied the tie loops to pull the fly away from the tent, the fitment is bad. In fact, when the rainfly is on, it actually compresses the body of the tent, changing its shape. The rainfly doesn't "cover" the door, but has a pole that holds it away from the top of the door, with nothing keeping rain from soaking the door. My rainfly was missing one hook that attaches it to the tent body. As far as the bag having extra room.... You can pack the tarp you'll need to stay dry and a ground tarp, which you should use with any tent. At this price point, there are a lot of better options. I do not recommend this tent.

This is a pretty good tent. It isn't the sturdiest, but it will do for short camping trips in mild weather. It's easy to set up and there were no rips, holes, or defects. I liked that there was a power cord access flap, and it does fit two people comfortably. It does have a rain cover, but haven't tested it in rain or other harsher weather so I'm not sure how it would hold up, but for regular weather camping trips, it works very nicely for shade or light sprinkling.

This is a really good tent, has a decent amount of room, and is pretty easy to set up. The best feature is having the outside tent cover that helps repel the rain so it doesn't soak the inside of the tent. It's very breathable when you're inside, and doesn't smell funny. I think it's a good starter or basic tent which is great when you won't use it all the time. This is a 1-2 night type of tent, but nothing too heavy duty. all in all, very good tent!

As with all tents, the capacity is overrated. I ordered the 2 person tent which is really only big enough for one person. Set up was quick and easy. Rain fly was also easy to attach. I'm not sure how well the "blackout" part really works. It does seem to block out some light, but not a ton. Storage bag was a nice size. The tent fit easily back inside it.

I got this dome tent for my oldest grandkids so they could have their own space when we go camping. They love it! The setup is easy, they managed to get it up themselves in under 10 minutes, which is a win in my book. The tent holds up well against wind and rain, thanks to the included rain fly. The zipper is smooth and easy to operate, so they’re not fumbling around, unable to get it open when nature calls. It comfortably fits two teenage boys, so it’s perfect for them to have a little independence while still being right next to the rest of the family. The carry bag makes it easy to transport and store. If you’re looking for a straightforward, easy-to-set-up tent for your camping trips, this one is a great choice. The grandkids give it two thumbs up!
