I do a bit of DIY and am decent with drywall patch jobs, but when I hung my new TV and looked for options for wiring, I saw this and decided to try something new. This made hiding cables so so easy. The instructions were abundantly clear, the drywall saw was the perfect cherry on top, and the overall packaging and product put a smile on my face during the project. The entire project took about 30 minutes and looks very professional once complete. The quality of the product is great. I liked the design of the recessed outlet that lets me put the TV flat against the wall to maximize room space. The cords are very durable. The cord passthru is nice and the option to put a cover over the AV cord hole cleanly is a nice touch. The template is nice, I cut the plug from the Rolex, the wires are a bit stiff but worked fine, the included saw is covered in oil but works well, very sharp, the included extension cord I’m using for other things, I didn’t need the included single gang box. The little wings are metal which makes a nice tight fit. Would be nice if this was a surge protection outlet. It’s a large hole so make sure it’s in the right place. ... show more

Purchased this for our mounted TV in the center of our living room wall. I was tired of looking at ugly cords hanging below the TV and running to our devices and outlets. You'll need a stud finder to install properly but everything else you would need is included in the kit. The product itself is very well built and the installation instructions are excellent. The problem I have is with the "Customer Service". I contacted them 3 times, via email over the course of one week, regarding a problem I ran into with my specific installation, and never received a reply.

The kit had everything you needed for a clean install. There were clear instructions, written with a bit of humor which I appreciated. The included jab saw is even decent to keep. The box this came in has everything! The drywall saw did a great job, although if you haven't used one before it can be intimidating. The instructions were simple and easy to follow, also they were entertaining. Measurements were all correct for distances. I ended up getting their wall mount as well. First - I am reluctant to take on most home projects as I've never been mechanically inclined and everything I try takes me 3 times as long as normal people. I had this project completed in less than 45 minutes without screwing it up. The EchoGear cord-hider is a quality product and did everything as promised. The kit contained everything needed to get my COAX and power connections behind the wall, and came with a very clear, short set of instructions which doubled as the template for cutting out the drywall for the upper box.
