  • In love
Bad breakup tuned into a personal fitness evolution. I paid the extra 20 bucks to have Amazon delivery guys bring it into my place. I unboxed it myself. The body of the bike is heavy but I was able to move it on my own. Assembly was easy. I use the Echelon app. The on-demand classes are really good. Especially the classes for beginners. The Instructors explain clearly, and are positively motivational. I appreciate that they see this as a privilege, and truly being able to move your body is something to be grateful for. After the first ride I felt better. It only took a few weeks for me to start seeing results. It's been a little over a month, I've forgotten his cheating-ass, my ass looks fantastic and I'm in healthy relationship with my Echelon. ... show more

  • Great At-Home Bike Choice
After shopping online and reading a lot of reviews and articles, I determined that the Echelon bike was a great choice rather than the much more expensive Peloton. The bike came with easy to follow directions for assembly. Note that the box is very heavy - 124 lbs - so some people may need assistance moving it around to unpack. Once assembled the bike is relatively easy to move on the two front roller-wheels. The bike appears to be very well made, very solid and good quality. You do need the Echelon app and there are fees for subscribing to their classes. But after two weeks, I've found the classes to be very good and motivational. Start with the beginner classes and work your way up. Live and recorded classes. For those who do not cycle frequently already, it does take time to build up some muscle where you sit on the bike whether you use the standard seat or buy a more cushioned one -- you will be a bit sore the first few rides. I would like more guidance on setting the proper seat and handle bar height, but I found some good videos online to help with that. ... show more

  • 4.5 Stars
You MUST create an account and purchase their fitness subscription in order to view any stats (resistance, distance, RPM, etc.) As another reviewer stated, you can download a third party app called qdomyos-zwift. This app connects to many smart bikes including this one, and shows things like time on bike, resistance, calories burned, distance, RPM, etc. Download the app ($5.99) & plug in the bike. It will connect almost immediately. It is a great bike....it's sturdy & easy to put together. ... show more

  • I love this bike
I am so happy with my Echelon bike! The quality feels very comparable to peloton to me. Classes are great, there is a wide variety of styles and instructors. It’s pretty quiet with a rubber mat underneath. I use my iPhone and AirPods to watch the classes. It works well and connects seamlessly to the bike and my Garmin watch for heart rate. The screen is a little small so I might invest in a tablet at some point. It took me about 2 hours to assemble by myself. It’s really heavy so I was glad I got the delivery to bring it upstairs. ... show more

  • Yo read this
So I looked around for a long time for a decent exercise bike and decided on this one after several youtube videos etc. Assembly was really easy, which foolishly made me think using the bike would be easy. I can't even say how excited I was for this thing! Well, it took nearly TWO HOURS for the app and the bike to connect, all the while chatting with customer service for help. Asking me to do things I had already done, or just not listening when I already said my phone is up to date or yes the blue button is flashing. Once it was connected I thought I would trial the bike. Which by the way, setting up your account in the app sets you up for a not free subscription, I did not see a free option where you could just get your metrics. Once on the now connected bike I tried out the resistance, I had seen videos of people changing it and I was hoping it would be good resistance and not lacking. Well it had none. No resistance. After spending TWO HOURS connecting the bike to an app I was just done, had to walk away. I reached out to customer service who wanted to trouble shoot, I said I'll try tomorrow, I just spent hours trying to get it connected. Then I asked what could be the problem with a bike I just got out of the box? They said it could be a simple fix or "catastrphic failure" and once I saw that, and I'm not a technician with the kind of ability to fix this sort of thing, I had enough. The term "catastrophic failure" was enough for me. Thankfully, Amazon scheduled a return for next Thursday. A company will be picking up the bike. All I can say is I shouldn't have to troubleshoot a new product, it should actually work the way it was designed. It should be user friendly, no need to be a technician to finally get it to work properly. ... show more

  • Great Bike
I got this for my wife and it is cheaper that the spin classes she was taking. Now I am also using the bike along with her and I will say it has been a great purchase for our physical health.

  • Very Solid Bike
I am very pleased with my purchase. The bike is very solid feeling (I weigh about 180 pounds), and has a very smooth resistance/flywheel. I had a little trouble getting onto the App, but I use it in the Freestyle mode, at no cost, and it gives me all the data I need to track my workouts and progress. The only minor criticism I have is that the seat lock isn't the best. The wrench that comes with the bike is not adequate to tighten the seat securely; I had to use my 1/2 inch drive socket wrench to get it tight enough to stop shifting on me. One other minor fault is that the calorie counter and the Kilo-Joule counter in the App aren't in the right ratio, but this is really not important. ... show more
