I replaced the twist throttle for the thumb throttle. It worked perfectly. Make sure you order the one with the right connector ends for your bike.

I am using this with a 24 volt motor and 24 volt battery. It works great. The big feature of this unit is that it can be installed on the handlebar without having to remove the hand grips - which is especially important if both grips are part of the shifter system.
