Description

The Doppel:Ganger line of camouflage utilizes dual image technology by layering an abstract veil over a defined pattern. The consistent contour of leaves and brush is mimicked by the pattern while the veil provides a second layer. Doing so forces the eye to focus on a single dimension while the other fades out of focus, introducing excellent contrast and depth. Mountain was engineered to provide excellent cover to chase elk and other big game in the dark timber of the West or the shady woods of the East. Mountain has quickly become Eberlestock’s most popular camouflage due to it’s classic tones of green making it extremely versatile in any high-veg terrain. Intended uses: basins, thick timber, rock scree, swamps, and agriculture land. Skye is widely considered our most versatile pattern and a favorite for whitetail deer hunters. The light brown, yellow, and earth colored pantones blend in with almost every environment. Intended uses: prairie, hardwoods, treestand hunting, dry desert, rocks, and arid landscapes. Mirage is the newest and best camo for the arid deserts of the West. Designed to mock the subtle tones of Western sagebrush, the high contrast of earth tones makes for an incredibly versatile camouflage that will leave you concealed in an array of climates and terrain. Intended uses: Sage flats, grasslands, treestands, alpine. DG:CAMO MOUNTAIN SKYE MIRAGE

Worthwhile investment!
I wasn't sure if this was worth the high price tag, but based on a lot of rave reviews, I ordered it. I have not been disappointed. You know you can find backpacks as low as $30 on Amazon, but those are worthy of buying for a young child perhaps. If you are a serious backwoods hiker/survivalist, etc. Your pack is your most important investment–so consider it so. The only other packs I have that come close in quality and functionally are 5.11 packs. But they don't make this kind of long-range operator's pack, so I shelled out the bucks for this Eberlestock. I wasn't disappointed. This thing exudes quality: well-padded straps, high-quality zippers, lots of compartments just where you need them. I have only begun to optimize what I pack and where, but this thing is certain to last a long time and be valuable whether for backwoods hiking/camping, or if the SHTF. Don't screw around with one of the most important pieces of survival gear you'll ever buy. Stay away from ultra-cheap Chinese junk, unless you want your pack to fail at the worst possible time. ... show more

Top of the line.
This pack is heavy duty and full featured. I've read some people complaining about the weight but I've run lighter packs and once I threw in all the ammo and weapon the extra 3 pounds this pack weighs is negligible when you take into account the durability. Plenty of room for a 3 day pack and the internal molle/pals webbing is a nice touch. Mine came with a coyote brown rain cover and the external frame is included unlike the pack in the photos. ... show more

Excellent Tactical Rifle Pack
Purchased this pack to carry a precision rifle weapons system. The quality can only be described as OUTSTANDING. First, the design shows that a lot of thought went into constructing this pack. The pockets, zipper and compression strap placement is perfect. The compartment for carrying a long gun easily accommodates my Remington 700. The quality of construction is top of the line with tough cordura nylon and excellent stitching. If you are a police or military sniper, rifle competitor or hunter looking for a pack to carry your gear plus your weapon, then this is the pack for you! ... show more

Not as advertised!
the product has a lot of features that are visibly displayed in their you tube video but do not exist in the bag!. molle in the pockets is thin and flimsy (in video is full molle). the separating flap is not zipped but rather a draw string? why cheap out? thats false advertising! top pocket is actually an add on connected by 2 molle straps and looks shady! back system looks different! not the same padding as in the video! what is the deal? ... show more

amazing pack just a couple of problems.
There are so many compartments in this thing that unless you are escaping civilization entirely you may never use all of them. My only real issues with what they shipped me were that 1) they send you a rain fly but it doesnt match your chosen color of pack. If I buy the multicam pack I dont want a coyote brown rain cover! 2) The zippers on the two outer pouches on the back... they are almost square. Who sews a square zipper!? That just makes it a pain to zip around a corner that way. 3) Lastly the biggest issue (which is sort of my fault for buying this one instead of the older G3) are the long side pockets on the left and right (added as an upgrade from the G3). I wanted to molle a pair of shotgun scabbards to the sides but when I did they were way too low to be able to grab (not to mention I couldnt walk through the door without turning sideways) because of the pockets' webbing being so low and loose on the pack. So in conclusion dont think you can expand on this pack other than small items because the parts with the pals webbing on it are so soft and floppy they might as well not have the webbing on them in the first place. Like you can attach your ipod or sunglasses pouch but dont try to molle anything heavy to it or you'll hear it swinging while you walk. So I guess you could say it wasn't worth almost 500 bucks but its a nice pack that I can carry a lot of junk in. ... show more

Zombies beware!
This is being used as a Bug Out Bag. It is the highest quality bag I have used. It can hold a lot and endures the stress.

Expensive but Great
This product is exactly what the description entailed. Lightweight, very easy on your back believe it or not. Worth the money.
