Yes it's true, this stuff really works. I didn't know what to expect at first since I've never tried but the thing, but my hard callous feet are finally becoming soft again. It's a bit messy to apply, and it drives to a powdery flaky consistency, but I saw that by getting some ankle socks to put over my feet after application. It has made the super thick calluses on my heels, soles and big toes disappear. After softening with this product I use a cheaper amope style rotary sander to smooth them down, and then apply generic and cheaper vapor rub to my feet overnight, wearing the socks again to keep from leaving greasy footprints all over the house! Just be careful if you have neuropathy in your feet like I do, because you can grind a little too much off if you're not paying attention, and that will end up being painful for a week or two! ... show more

I usually never leave amazon reviews I just read others and use them for my own judgements. But legitimately this stuff is amazing. I’ve only been using it for a week and my heels (and feet overall) look better than they ever have. This is actually repairing my monument valley sized cracks on my heels. The first night I used it, it got rid of most of the surface level dryness and cracks. Now a week in it’s really absorbing into and healing my foot. But my feet look aggressively better and I am actually looking forward to see how my feet will look after using this for a while. The consistency is like royal icing (if you watch baking shows) or like a slightly runny elmer’s glue. I know that sounds odd but your skins absorbs it pretty quickly. The overall smell is a strong tea tree smell but just more concentrated then you’d find in a skincare thing you’d buy in tjmaxx. I put a decent layer on my heels and then a thin layer on the rest of my foot, then I cover them with those fuzzy heel socks with aloe in them. This cream does exactly what the ads read. I had some pretty thick dry calluses on the bottom of my feet from years of wear and tear. Mostly from my job. If you follow the two times a day and put socks over the area immediately after applying you will see a difference in a week. Worth every penny.
