The color is accurate to the listing pictures and description: Matt black (Matt is shinier than flat, but flatter than satin or the in between flat and satin). The quality of the vinyl looks and feels decent - you can tell that it’s durable and heavier than low cost vinyl. It peels off its backing easily and there are no flaws, bubbles or kinks noticed in the 4feet or so that I unrolled to check. Cons: it does not come with application instructions. Not sure if it needs heat to set after placement, I assume it does. But if you’ve never used vinyl I’d recommend starting with something that comes with application instructions. The box also indicates that it’s “color changing” (see my pictures) but surely that can’t be right? There is no mention of color changing in the listing itself. Regardless, I’m afraid to use it on my car, what if it turns purple after I apply it!?! :) just kidding, I highly doubt that it would change color - the box has bizarre statements that on each side that is completely left field and irrelevant to the product, possibly due to poor translation to English.

This matte black wrap is perfect! It is smooth, unlike some matte black wraps that have a slight texture. I’ve used it on various different surfaces and it has stuck well. I appreciate its look and ease of application. It works exactly as I hoped it would and has no downsides! This wrap is great, I definitely recommend it!

This vinyl wrap came rolled up in a box with very little information on it. The box did say it was "color change" but it doesn't change colors. It is matte black with a clear thick plastic liner that needs to be removed to expose the adhesive. It isn't very sticky and I tried to heat it to see if that made the adhesive more active (just like some other vinyl car appliques). It did make it shrink a bit and adhere better. Since it was such a small size, I wanted to use it to re-wrap a desk storage piece I had that the fake leather flaked off of. It is going to take me a while to cut all the individual pieces, so I only have a picture of the front drawer to show. It looks nice, but I learned that the surface has to be VERY SMOOTH because the vinyl is very thin and shows every imperfection.

Like any other wrap it is tricky to work with, but once you get the hang of it, this work well. It has held-up in heat and rain with no problems and look new after washing.

I tried to use this for an off label project. I can’t give an informative review because I did not use it in a vehicle (as it is intended) and I have never used any vinyl or anything similar to compare the quality to. I can tell the readers that this does not work the same as wallpaper vinyl. I tried to cover a very small area on a mirror. It is thinner than indoor vinyl for art projects. This is probably how it needs to be when using it to cover a vehicle. I was in a bind, trying to match a matte black vinyl that I could not reorder the same product and I have tried multiple vinyls and have not been able to match the color. Good luck to those using it the correct way; I can’t say if it is good or not for that. I can’t say say, don’t try to use this for art projects. Stay in the correct category because this vinyl is different.

The wrap itself seems decent, but it came with zero instructions — not even a “good luck!” note. I tried to wrap the bowtie on my tailgate, but let’s just say it turned out more “Pinterest fail” than professional. The vinyl feels sturdy and has a nice matte finish, though, so if you actually know what you’re doing, it’ll probably look great. Just be prepared to wing it!

This matte black vinyl wrap from Sarcry looks great. It is roughly a 5ft long roll of 1ft length vinyl. I appreciate how it arrives in a sturdy box to make sure the vinyl wrap is in pristine condition. The look is a satiny matte black with a glossy smooth feel to the touch. This size of roll is suitable for smaller parts on your car or other items outside of your car. Overall, it feels like a good value.

Pros: A good quality material that works very well I heated it up slightly so that I could ship it around some curved parts Seems to be very good material that is scratch resistant As far as vinyl trim goes, it was fairly easy to install It looks nice and seems to be well made I think it should be durable Cons: No instructions included in the box I would suggest contacting the seller through AMAZON and requesting the instructions If you take your time and apply it properly, it will be wrinkle resistant
