This trim removal kit is actually nice. For 13 bucks it’s extremely nice. I’m a tech so I buy the majority of my tools from the tool trucks. I have to say, this kit is actually nicer than some of the trim tools I’ve purchased from the big tool companies for ridiculous prices. I like how the kit comes with a variety of useful tools. You rarely see such a variety with the expensive kits. And if they do have this many tools they’re usually well over a hundred bucks. I already used this to take the interior out of gx470 when water got in the truck. All the tools work exceptionally well. The plan was to keep this kit in my home toolbox but I’m really considering using them at work and bringing my expensive kit home. In the kit they also include a bag of valve caps and a pair of work gloves. Well actually they’re more like gardening gloves lol. I still appreciate the gesture and I’ll be using them come spring to do some yard work! ... show more

I ordered the black and silver version. I am a DIYer who is always doing some sort of project or working on my car. I have plastic trim tools that usually work great for most jobs, but I have broken a couple. I decided to try these metal tools so I don't have to worry about them snapping or chipping. These feel durable and well made. I like the rubber grip. The edges are smooth but a little too thick. It can be harder getting these under a tight panel. Besides that they are great. I like that they came with a case to keep them organized. This kit also came with 8 tire valve covers, I actually needed 1. The gloves are standard cheap gloves , but the coating can keep your hands clean if you are working on a dirty or greasy part. When I get some free time, I will hit the edges of these pry bars with my grinder to make them a little thinner. ... show more

Between installing a audio system, having to fix my window, or even just replacing car parts these tools having come in handy. I really like the tool bad and makes it easy to keep them together while the back of my vehicle.

I was a little nervous getting metal trim removal tools as I was concerned that they would scratch or mar the plastic or metal surfaces during use, which is why I have traditionally tried plastic, but I am always annoyed that plastic tools break or bend when needing a little extra force so I decided to give these a try and am very happy I did. These are all solid metal and eliminate all the issues I had with plastic tools, they pry and pop with little flex or compromise. My biggest concern though was that they would cause damage but after I took one look at them I realized I do not need to worry about this set causing me grief. The edges are incredibly smooth and you can tell that time and consideration were taken to ensure that this do not do any damage as you use them. They are so smooth they could be used to massage your bare skin and wouldn't cause irritation or scratching - exactly what you need when working with your vehicle. As a set, it includes every tool you could ever need to remove clips and planes and includes a nice case to keep it all together. It even has a pair of gloves to use with them and a random set of tire valve caps. Definitely happy with these as an upgrade to my plastic set. ... show more

I have a set of the plastic ones like these - or I should say a couple partial sets - as the plastic ones break on the really tough clips so I had to purchase the plastic ones again. These are very solid - and appear to have some temper so they don't bend easily. The handle is covered enough to make it comfortable to hold also. While these are primarily for exterior parts where there is no paint to scratch from the metal of the tools, I use them inside also by just using a piece of a plastic milk carton under the head. This works great to keep the painted surfaces from scratching - I expect that I will not need to replace these like the plastic ones. ... show more

This set is a nice quality set of trim removal tools. I will give it that. I feel the leading line in the description is somewhat deceiving. This is why I give but three stars. On average I don't think it is out of bounds to think the purchaser is getting a 17Pc tool set as stated. " 17 Pcs Car Removal Tool Kit Steel Pry Bar Door Panel Window Audio Radio Dashboard Removal Tool Set"...... In reality what the purchaser gets is SIX TRIM REMOVAL TOOLS..... The other eleven items are as follows. 8 valve stem caps I assume for any missing on our tires. One would not use this kit to remove or replace them. Pretty useless in this kit. A pair of gloves that are counted as individual to raise the overall piece count I assume. And the eleventh piece is the storage bag. I can only recommend this kit with caution. I am not an auto mechanic nor am I remotely mechanically inclined but I wanted to order this set of trim removal tools from Eaukar for 2 very specific purposes: 1. They work great for tucking my seat covers inside the corners/edges of the front seats to help keep them in place. 2. I can also use the tools to remove the plastic cover on the interior roof light to help replace the bulb in there occasionally. For those of you who are more mechanically inclined then me, I think you will find these trim tools to be well made and sturdy. They are metal - not plastic. This can be good and bad. It's good for the sturdiness aspect but if you're worried about scratches, plastic would be a better option. The kit comes in a nice pouch to make it easy to keep the tools organized and in one place. ... show more
