I have had a dark grey shower curtain hanging in our bathroom for 13 years. It's hung on a shower curtain rod that is higher than average as the remodeling contractor had to hang it above the tiles. The current curtain is a waffle-weave material that shrinks up when washed/dried in the dryer but as time goes on, gravity makes it sag until it's lying about 3" on the floor. This works for keeping the floor dry but not-so-much in the "looks" department. Hence, I was delighted to find this shower curtain that actually came in the length I need...72"x78". This curtain is of a medium weight, not too flimsy such as many polyester curtains are. The waffle weave design and lighter shade of grey is exactly what works in our bathroom. There are metal grommets at the top and it came with a packet of 12 upscale hooks with metal balls at the top to prevent scratching of the rod. There are 2 magnets at the corners to hold it down on our 1988 tub. It looks really nice. I have ordered a waterproof cloth liner to complete the set and prolong it's longevity. The Easy-Going Waffle Textured Shower Curtain adds a nice textural element to a visually clean bathroom space. Plus, it is a heavier weight polyester with two magnetic weights sewn in on the bottom corners, so it stays put well. We were excited to find the longer length available. We installed a curved curtain rod for more elbow room (and it's awesome- totally recommend that if you can accommodate it), so we needed a longer than typical curtain width to fit the rod. The narrow bottom hem is less than 1/2", so hopefully that will help it dry out faster and minimize mildew. The metal hooks secure similar to how a safety pin does, so once it is installed, it won't come off accidentally when you pull the curtain to the side like those open sided plastic hooks do. We are happy with this shower curtain. The price for this size seems to be in line with other waffle textured shower curtains of similar quality, and the metal hooks included make it a good deal. ... show more

This is a terrific multi-purpose shower curtain. Because of the waffle weave texture (which is quite attractive), I expected the curtain to be weighty and heavy. However, it is light weight yet is quite sturdy. It has rustproof grommets for hanging. This is especially important as mine is white which would show rust quite easily. The grommets also insure there are no tears at the hanger holes which will extend the life of the curtain. The curtain has magnets which allows it also to be used as a curtain liner. I am using it in this manner myself. The light weight of my white curtain is sheer enough to allow light in behind my main curtain. My favorite feature, though, is it is machine washable which will definitely extend its life as well. There is no downside to this dual purpose shower curtain, and I highly recommend it! ... show more

Nice and thick, extra long and non-sheer fabric. I have not used this shower curtain by itself. I always use a liner because it is cheaper to replace and I do not have to fuss with any residues that might cling to it. However, splashes happen. I have not seen any water bounce, bead or roll off of this curtain. The quality of the grommets and reinforcement at the top do not seem to match the quality of the rest of the curtain. This has not deterred me in using it or recommending it. The thickness is very difficult to find for me and it has not rusted or pulled grommets out yet.
