Got this blanket for adult time, if you know what I mean. It gets the job done. Great to throw over the bed. It got wet wet, but didn't leak through. For those that said it does leak, they probably left it soaked and in place for a while. But if you remove the blanket, there's no issue with leaking.

We needed this to protect our bed from our older dog with anxiety and it works really, really well. She's had a couple of accidents now, and the bedding underneath is completely dry and protected. I'd love it if they had more patters, but the grey looks nice. Would buy again :)

I just got a new weighted blanket, and I had to get a duvet cover for it. Imagine my frustration when my cat puked all over (she has pancreatitis) it on the second night. Weighted blankets are not easily washable and the cover wasn't very waterproof. You get the gist. I was just glad I caught it in time and it wasn't too much damage. I went on Amazon to try to find a waterproof duvet cover. Wasn't able to find one that had good reviews or was under $100. After a couple tries of products that might have a similar function, I came across this. I love this product. It looks like a blanket kind of. It is a bit noisy but I'm used to it by now. Most important of all, my cat loves it. I cover her donut bed with this cover on my bed and she loves curling up in it. It has saved my bed from multiple pukes and my own clumsy spills. I bought the queen size to use as a cover for my very abused sofa. It is very good at keeping dirt and moisture off of my sofa, but not so good at staying on my sofa. The back is nearly as slick as the front and there's no grip so unless you fasten it to the sofa it may not stay. My dogs are young and very rambunctious and that's why the sofa is trashed, but it's also the reason why this cover won't stay on the sofa. I think it would work better on a bed where there wasn't as much fighting against gravity to keep it in place. I use these on the couches and bed. Perfect for dogs with muddy feet or puppies with the occasional accident. The liquid sits on top for a long while and then soaks in, but doesn't soak through. Cat urine went through the perforated parts. I put a pee pad under to see if it completely soaked through. And it went through the stitches. If it is sitting for a long period of time or a lot of liquid, I can see it could soak completely through.
