The media could not be loaded. Wow!! Just wow!! I am not professional as trumpet is my hobby for a while. Recently, my first kid, 4 years old girl, wants to play trumpet while I am practicing. So I decided to get one for Christmas gift. This trumpet just arrived today and I tested. I would say, 'Wow!! I have been fooled by other brand!" This trumpet is just awesome that has very clear sound, valve, weight. This is perfect trumpet for a beginner or maybe college students. I had stomvi, bach 37, and currently I am plying yamaha ytr9335. These were minimum $2k for second hand purchase. But this trumpet, East Rock, just made me realize that I actually do not need such a high level quality. I record video and sent to my friend who played trumpet more than 25 years and he was surprised about $100 trumpet. Eastrock trumpet has lighter sound than ytr9335. Which means that it s much easier to play than higher level trumpet. I was thinking about ytr1335(yamaha), tr300(bach). Those are very well known as beginner trumpet and I used when I was beginner. If you are looking for a cheap trumpet but has full functions, I highly recommend this trumpet. Some comments have a issue with valve. BUT I think it is well made valve with $100 trumpet and I am pretty sure it will be much smoother later. I was so excited by this trumpet. I love it and highly recommend if you are looking for beginner trumpet. You don't have to spend couple hundred dollars. This is enough for a beginner. This trumpet is even enough to play concerto. Highly recommend.

It's gorgeous! (For the money) Now mind you, I've never laid hands on a trumpet before. I'm 38 years old and thought it would be good for me to learn an instrument. I've always had a deep appreciation for the trumpet. So I thought why not? But what if I just totally suck? So I really didn't want to spend a lot of money. What if I just don't keep up on this? Now normally when I want to do something I will do it whatever it takes. It's just who I am. But I wanted to make sure before I made any real investment. Honestly, it is the most beautiful case. And it's pink, Come on! So far I can tell that the 1 valve is sticking a bit. It's a bit slow to rise. I tried pulling it but it didn't change. I imagine the size isn't exactly right. The other two are perfect. The slider on the other hand is very hard. The kit does not come with grease for the slider. It also does not come with tube brush to clean your mouth piece. I have actually made some pretty decent sound. I'm really excited and quite happy I made this purchase! This was my Valentine's present from my Valentine. I am a real person (an artist) learning to play the trumpet for the first time. If you have any questions or concerns about this review our need an update or validation that this is real send me a message insta Coloursofchaos. I read through the reviews and I knew I was taking a chance. I'm glad I decided to make the purchase. But who knows in the long run it'll just stop working tomorrow I have no idea I don't have a lot of knowledge as it is. So either way I will update you in a few months.

This is an ok beginners trumpet. I am a trumpet player and I wanted to teach my daughter how to play the trumpet, so I bought her this cheap trumpet so she can learn the basics. The trumpet was ok at first, but when we oiled the valves and put them back in, somehow the air that she was blowing trough didn’t come out, so we had to spend one hour to try and figure out what was the problem. Eventually, we found the problem and the problem was that the valves weren’t facing the right direction in order for the air to flow through and make noise, so we spent a few minutes rotating the valves until we found the correct way they had to be. Overall, I give this a 3 star review.

This is a nice student trumpet. It has a bright, powerful tone ( but very mouthpiece dependent ). Also, with the right mouthpiece intonation improves ( not perfect, but adequate ). It has a nice response and will not limit your range ( based on ability and, once again, the right mouthpiece ). Like any inexpensive horn, valves need to be oiled regularly ( at least once or twice a week ) and the horn cleaned out several times a month. In fact all trumpets need to be maintained in a similar fashion.

Plays nice for the price, but all the finish, around the valves, will completely wear off in less than a year. Any place where you touch the horn, the finish will wear off down to the raw dull brass. It looks like the thing is 100 years old after 1 year of use. Also where Eastrock stamped the logo on the bell, it split open. A trumpet finish and materials should last way more than this did. You get what you pay for.😐
