Tried to assemble the chair leg on this chair. The screw didn't go in smoothly like the others did. Tried to get the screw out and the whole piece came out. Now I have a useless chair. You'll need two people for the table. It has good weight to it, so it seems like it'll be sturdy. The finish is beautiful. I originally ordered a dining set from another company that might begin with an "O". It tooks weeks and never arrived and I struggled with support to get it finally canceled. I took a chance and came to Amazon and found this. It was a few $'s more, but not much, but I will admit it is better than I expected, arrived with no damage at all and although it took a little time, I put it together by myself. Had this table for 8 months and it has just snapped in half. Not at any joint, but the literal wood tabletop split apart. See attached photos. Doesn't seem like this is made of good materials. Contacted Seller, OJ Commerce, who referred me to East West Products, the manufacturer/Supplier. East West has referred me back to OJ Commerce. I don't think a table should snap in half like this if it was good quality. This is a crappy table, with a crappy seller and crappy supplier/manufacturer. I will never purchase from either again, and I advise others to avoid as well ... show more

I've had this set for about 2 years. At first I was very pleased with it. It's beautiful and I like how the extension folds inward so you're not stuck with an extra piece to store. I like that the chairs are padded, *BUT they're absolutely terrible. 2 chairs are completely broken now. The legs get wobbly and we have to constantly tighten them. The table top scratches easily and a piece of wood just broken off one of the sides where the extension folds in. That did it for me.
