It came very well packaged. Once I got the first chair put together it was simple after that. I'm very impressed with the sturdiness and quality. I was skeptical but I'm glad to have it. After having the same table and chairs for thirty years it was time for an upgrade. I have gotten so many compliments on it. I know it seems like a lot of money but for what it is it's worth it. The table looks great in our kitchen area. The wood is solid and finish is good. It is easy to build but it took about 20 minutes to build each chair X 6 chairs is about 2 hours total. Good quality for the price.

I purchased the black Norfolk 7-piece kitchen table and 6 chairs set for my large dining nook. I don't have a formal dining room, so I wanted a casual set large enough for entertaining and sturdy enough for everyday use. This set more than meets my criteria. Directions for assembly were clear and minimal; my son began at noon, and by 1:30 I had a beautiful casual table and six chairs. It's a solid set and appears well made. The finish is fair, but not the dark glossy black I'd hoped for). That is to say, the wood grain is visible on some surfaces, especially the chairs. Delivery took about a week; however, the company did call several days in advance to confirm delivery date/time. The only problem was that there was a lone driver/deliverer, and because the set was so heavy, I had to call my son to help him carry the boxes into the house. Fortunately, my son was available to do so; otherwise, the driver said he'd have had to call for a helper, who could have taken up to an hour to arrive (What?). Overall, I'm pleased with the product, though at $695, it's priced on the high end for what it is. ... show more

We wanted a real wood table, no veneers, which was hard to find. We also wanted black. It is the perfect size for us and so far very sturdy, and no scratches yet. The solid wood chairs feel a bit hard to sit on, but our cat bites leather cushioned seats. We also love the bench, which we move under a window when we don't have company. This table is everything you would want. It’s durable to stains and water marks !! I have small children who love making messes and this table definitely withstand anything. It’s a tad smaller in height than I had expected it to be but I don’t even care at this point, I LOVE my table !!

It took my boyfriend about an hour and 45 minutes to put the table together by himself using a power drill instead of the tool provided. Once put together it's very sturdy and looks great. Matches great with the rest of our furniture and we love it.

The product looked good, I ordered the package including 1 table, 4 chairs and 1 bench. I got a total of 4 boxes. 3 boxes include full parts, and one box for 2 chairs have missing parts. Was called hardware. Includes M6 x 40, M6 x 60, M6 x 80 bolts, lock washer, flat washer, screw M4 x 40, Allen key 4mm. So I have 2 star for this. ... show more
