I have been waking up with horrible hip and back pain for months now. I had tried some other mattress toppers but I guess they just did not have "enough" cushioning. I have been going to my chiropractor, using cold laser, muscle relaxers, having spinal decompression treatments & acupuncture as well from my dr. & doing yoga at bedtime. I am very happy with this purchase, especially given there were some reviewers that received bad products. I hesitated at first but figured I could return it and took a chance. It arrived well packaged in the original bag without any problems or issues. This mattress pad is made very well, fits great and holds its shape unlike the memory foam ones that collapse under your weight. I put this on a firm mattress without a pillow-top which needed some softening. As I said it fit very nicely but, the best part was the comfort factor; outstanding! I’ve tried the memory foam and they have all proven to be uncomfortable, made me sweat and pretty much collapsed; all for much more cost. I can finally sleep comfortably and my back pain is getting so much better. This is a keeper for me!

I purchased this for myself and my son. WE LOVE it! My other son kept saying he needs a new bed and I said let's try the mattress topper we all have! The first night he slept on it he said "MOM this mattress topper is amazing! I don't like it I LOVE it. He said he is finally getting a restful uninterrupted nights sleep. So there are way too many mattresses in a box to even begin to understand the differences, preferences and such, so for me it came down to price, hybrid, and how the hybrid was put together... meaning, cool foam, high density foam, springs and the thickness of each. This queen was a bed for our 13 year old son, who quite honestly could have a 6" foam and plywood and probably not know the difference, but as he grows and gets bigger than me! we wanted to ensure he had adequate space and did not have to feel the pain of a twin bed, like I did growing up. So after choosing this because the price lined up, I felt the reviews were adequate and accurate and it looked good, it arrived! I immediately placed the boxed mattress in the room... unboxed it on the empty bed frame and cut open the packaging so it could breath and expand. Now it arrived around 1pm and I know everyone says let it sit for a couple days, but there was very little smell and it expanded to the correct 12" almost within the first 30 minutes... not to mention it felt adequate from the get-go. So, that night my son slept on it and said it was very comfortable. So comfort... my daughter did not like it and she likes to sleep on a "cloud." She said it was too firm for her, which I'd agree for her it was, as she likes many blankets, stuff animals and wants to sink into a cloud to sleep... my son, not so much! So he liked it, with on exception... the divets on the top, which look like part of the design, he said he could feel those as we only had a fitted sheet covering it. So we purchase a think cooling topper for it and BAM, that solved the problem and now he loves it! so, we had no issues and after a few months it's still doing well with a 120lb 13 year old sleeping and jumping on it!

I slept so good on this mattress pad. It is really like lying on a cloud. No sore pressure points from lying in same position. It is just as thick as pic shows & heavy. Fits my 12" mattress with no problems. I have to use sheet straps to keep fitted sheet on but I like this particular set of sheets & do not want to purchase deeper pocket sheets. I keep a fan blowing on me while sleeping (along with a ceiling fan) & it did not seem to make me any hotter. My unhappy chihuahua sleeps in her heated cat bed even during the summer because my bedroom is like a wind tunnel!

This mattress topper is great! I have an old Design Within Reach memory foam mattress that's pretty much lost most of its memory. Back aches every morning for past several years but can't afford a new mattress yet, so out of desperation started looking into toppers instead. After reading hundreds of reviews on various types and brands I took a chance on this one. So far it was the right decision. I've had it on my bed for 3 weeks now and have not had a single backache yet. After years of pain and stiffness I'm still incredulous waking up each morning pain free. Plus it's very well made, my sheets fit fine over it & it's soooooo comfortable and soothing to sleep on. I was worried it may be hot because of the fiber fill, but it was fine even through a 3 day heatwave. I still might get a cooling gel pad to put under it as the forecast is for an exceptionally hot, dry California summer ahead. But otherwise, I am very happy with this topper and highly recommend it.
