  • A Revelation. A Paradigm Shift. A New Day Dawns.
Color: Black
I want to start this review by setting the scene: Before the EarFun Air 4, I lived in grayscale. I existed in a state of audio compromise. I was a man (or woman, or person—it doesn’t matter, the suffering was universal) tethered to the mediocre, haunted by the specter of ambient noise and the constant, dull ache of ill-fitting plastic pressing against the delicate cartilage of my inner ear. I had no idea how good life could truly be. The EarFun Air 4 are not just wireless earbuds; they are a ticket to a utopian existence, an engineering miracle compressed into two tiny, perfectly sculpted pieces of audio nirvana. I am writing this review at 3 AM because I literally cannot sleep until I have cataloged the full spectrum of their perfection. The Unboxing: A Spiritual Experience The moment the box arrived, I knew I was holding something special. It wasn’t just a product; it was a promise. The packaging was sleek, minimalist, yet substantial. Opening the lid felt like parting the curtains on a new, better world. The case itself—oh, the case!—it has this perfect, pebble-like smoothness. It slides into my pocket with the grace of a trained ballerina. The magnets snap with a decisive, reassuring thwack that whispers, "Your audio is safe now. Your peace is secured." Previous cases I owned felt like cheap plastic containers for disposable batteries; this one feels like the vessel carrying the Holy Grail of personal acoustics. SECTION 1: The Silence. The Glorious, God-Tier Noise Cancellation (ANC) Let's talk about the Active Noise Cancellation, because honestly, this is where the EarFun Air 4 ascends to a different plane of existence. The ANC is not merely "good" or "effective"—it is existential erasure. I took them on a flight last week. A red-eye. My typical routine involves three layers of cotton wool, industrial-grade earplugs, and a desperate prayer. With the Air 4? I put them in, clicked the ANC on, and the 737 engine roar, the screaming baby three rows back, the passive-aggressive cough of the man next to me—it all evaporated. Vanished. It was replaced by a silence so profound, so absolute, that I genuinely felt like I was floating in a soundproof isolation tank. I could hear the faint, delicate breathing of the singer in my classical music track, and absolutely nothing else. I finally understood what true concentration felt like. The chatter of the office coffee machine? Gone. The construction jackhammer outside my window? A faint, distant memory. My brain, for the first time in a decade, experienced true quietude, and it was glorious. I use the ANC not just for listening to music, but for thinking. It is a productivity multiplier. It is mental hygiene. It is, quite simply, the best noise cancellation I have ever experienced, bar none, regardless of price point or form factor. It is the gold standard, the platinum trophy, the zenith of acoustic isolation technology. This alone justifies the purchase price ten times over. I repeat: the silence is golden. Nay, it is diamond-encrusted platinum. SECTION 2: The Summit of Comfort and Ergonomics Now, let's discuss the comfort, because what good is perfect silence if your ears feel like they've been assaulted by a small, hard rock after an hour? The comfort of the EarFun Air 4 is not just "good"—it is invisible. It is a marvel of bio-engineering. I have notoriously finicky, sensitive ears. Every single pair of earbuds I have ever owned, from the ultra-cheap to the ridiculously expensive, has caused pain, pressure, or that distracting, annoying sensation of something being in my ear after about 45 minutes. I was constantly shifting, adjusting, and taking them out to give my ears a "break." The EarFun Air 4 changed everything. The shape is so meticulously contoured, so featherlight, and the selection of ear tips so generous and perfectly calibrated that they simply disappear when I insert them. I wore these for a continuous six-hour session while working—yes, SIX HOURS—and when I took them out, I was genuinely surprised they were still there. There was no fatigue, no pressure, no soreness, not even a slight itch. It is like having custom-molded audio equipment made specifically for my unique, delicate ears. They fit so securely and so gently that I forget I am wearing them. I've accidentally worn them to bed multiple times, only realizing they were still in when the alarm went off. That’s not a critique; it’s the highest possible praise. They are secure enough for a high-intensity workout (I tested them; they didn't budge), yet gentle enough for an all-day Zoom call. The comfort level is so exceptional that I recommend them not just as headphones, but as an advanced piece of ergonomic wellness technology. The Audio Fidelity: A New Appreciation for Sound While the comfort and ANC are life-altering, the sound quality is the celebratory confetti on top of the perfection cake. The audio profile is lush, balanced, and dynamic. The Bass: It's deep, resonant, and punchy without ever becoming muddy or overwhelming the other frequencies. It's the kind of bass you feel in your chest, but it doesn't mask the delicate strumming of a guitar or the soft strike of a cymbal. It's disciplined, yet powerful. The Mids: Crystal clear. Vocals cut through the mix with stunning clarity. I am hearing nuances in my favorite tracks—backup harmonies, subtle reverb tails—that I have simply never noticed before, even on expensive studio monitors. It feels like the sound engineer personally mixed the track just for these earbuds. The Highs: Sparkling, airy, and detailed. No harsh sibilance, no tinny sharpness—just beautiful, extended treble that adds a sense of space and dimension to the soundstage. In short, the EarFun Air 4 doesn't just play music; it allows you to experience it. Every genre—from complex orchestral pieces to heavy metal and delicate acoustic folk—is rendered with a fidelity that belongs in a product three times this price. Final Verdict: The Inevitability of Perfection I am done rambling, but only because I am running out of characters to fully articulate my admiration. If you are reading this, stop contemplating. Stop comparing spec sheets. Stop settling for less. The EarFun Air 4 is the definitive answer to the question: "Which wireless earbuds should I buy?" The comfort is transcendent, the noise cancellation is literally world-stopping, and the sound quality is immaculate. They are a technological and ergonomic masterpiece. Buy them. Your ears, your sanity, and your appreciation for high-fidelity audio will thank you. I am a changed person. My life has a soundtrack again, and that soundtrack is played in absolute, glorious silence. EarFun, thank you. You have redefined audio excellence. ... show more

  • Best wireless ANC earbuds hands down!
Color: Black
The earphone Air Pro 4s have been my favorite wireless earbuds over the last 7 months I've been using them. I'm not saying they're perfect but wow do you get a lot for your money. I will start out with the few things that someone might find as negatives about them: 1. They are regular "Airpods" style buds that get pressed into your ear canals wear a tight fit is needed for proper noise cancellation. This style of earbud doesn't have anything to wrap around your ear, or any other design to help keep the earbud in your ear besides just the friction between your ear and the earbud tip/gel. That said they stay in my ears pretty well even when I'm really vibing with the music and have to get up and dance. But they have fallen out if I'm doing more physical activities, like while at work on a construction site or doing any type of running. 2. I use these earbuds with LG V60 Android phone that supports the "aptX Adaptive" by Qualcomm. But you can get similar results with any LDAC capable device. Not really a negative just something I thought I should disclose. 3. They sound above average, really nice just using my phone's stock sound efffects/equalizer and/or whatever music streaming app's equalizer I'm using at the time, but I got them audiophile level after I downloaded the Earfun app and used their equalizer. So the negative would be your have to download their app to get that super Hi-Fi experience. Now for the accolades: 1. The soundstage is phenomenal. Wide, bright and nuanced. 2. These do not disappoint in regards volume loudness or low end bass response. Earfun? ...more like EarCandy. Very impressive at this price point. Chef Kiss! 3. These earbuds are tough as nails. Early on before I put on the correct size eartips for my ears one of them had fallen out and got caught in my reclining couch. I couldn't find it immediately, so I stood up to look for it and when they recliner returned to the upright position I heard a crunch. Sure enough when I got down the earbud had been caught in metal mechanism of the recliner and I thought well let her go 60 bucks. But when I reached for it and actually retrieved the earbud it was still intact it had a little piece of the outer plastic that had been gouged out but the earbud was intact. That would have been any other earbud the thing would have been crushed like an empty peanut shell. I thought well yeah it's not broken but the gouge is going to mess with the sound. But that was not the case I've been using them 6 months after that happened and they're still going strong. 4. The noise cancellation works just as well of not better than my over the ear Bose Quiet Comfort 35s. Okay in conclusion, I'd recommend these earbuds to anybody who's main concern is sound quality. These might even impress some audiophiles. I'm certainly going to buy another pair as a backup. ... show more

  • A very good set of budget earbuds with a few limitations
Color: Black
The Good - They are very comfortable, I often forget I'm wearing them. They sound great. I typically only listen to podcasts and audio books, but the sound is very clear. Noise canceling is absolutely amazing! There's an air conditioning intake right outside my office door and when the A/C turns on it's like having a vacuum cleaner in the room. The ANC on these earbuds cuts at least 70% of the sound, it's really amazing. Dual device connectivity is something I've been missing in other earbuds. I can connect these to my PC and my phone and when a call comes in the audio/video stream on the PC is paused while I'm in the call. I won't call it life changing, but it's great! The Bad - Battery life isn't anywhere near what's claimed. I typically put these on at 6:30 AM and by 8:30 they're at 20%. I also don't like that you can't tell charge level when they're in the charge case. When they're out of the case the phone app will show charge level, but in the case they're disconnected from the phone. Transparency mode works and makes a difference, but it's pretty minimal. I know there are three settings, but none of them seem to change the volume of external sounds. It may not be possible with the hardware limitations, but I wish there was a volume slider for transparency mode. The Ugly - With High Quality turned on for Bluetooth I get horrible skipping and stuttering when the phone is in my pocket and I'm walking. Since one of the things I do the most is use them while walking, this is disappointing, but turn off the Qualcomm Optx and the stuttering stops, but sound quality decreases pretty dramatically, well below other earbuds I have that cost half as much. ... show more
