  • Greenhouse as smoker's shelter
Style: 8x6 ft Clear/White PE
Product was the perfect size for our needs. In terms of set-up, it was about as difficut as any good-quality pop-up canopy except as the skin is all one piece, it required some extra patience (it would have been easier had I not been alone). I might have to take up gardening just so I have an excuse to buy another one. It's really cute. Frame, vinyl fabric and zippers all seem sturdy. Good stakes, too, though out in an open area with brisk winds I don't know how any tent-like structure would fare over time. This seems a very good product and value. ... show more

  • Though we modified it a bit, worked well
Style: 6x4 ft Clear/Green PE
We wanted to use this as a mini greenhouse on our elevated back deck (so air can come up between the planks below it). We live in central Texas, so winters are not bitter cold but a few single-digit nights are possible. So we set it up on the deck and used wire to secure the feet to the planks. Then we put and old blanket inside it between the top of the frame and the green plastic. Lastly, we lined it with cheap, thin plastic from an old painting tarp. All measures were to help it retain heat. Lastly, we put two low-power reptile warming lights in it at the bottom with ceramic heating elements (instead of lights). Collectively it worked well and kept the inside about 15 - 20 degrees warmer than outside most nights. Windy nights it was only about 10 degrees warmer because the wind could force air in and out of it via the gaps between the deck planks. Next year we might put a tarp down on the bottom first. In the spring, we bought a cheap ($25) zip-up bag from Amazon, and we broke it all down, cleaned it, dried it, and then put it in the bag, and put the bag in the shed for the summer. Pretty good little kit by the time we got it all the way we wanted it. The tent itself is pretty sturdy and functional. It will not survive strong winds without supports, so factor that into your planning. Otherwise, all very good. ... show more

  • Works as advertised
The tent is a bit difficult to get on without damage first time one does this, as directions while good, leave out some key points. More emphasis on pictures of the Velcro ties would help as these were confused with other ties and had us setting up inside out first try. Suggest buying 6 foot stakes to pound into ground to secure, which we did. ... show more

  • Was happy with purchase so far. Will see how it holds up thru the winter .
Style: 6x8 ft Clear/Green PE
Like the spaciousness of inside & door way was big enough to walk thru without having to bend over. Was a little bit of a struggle getting greenhouse square so door zipper would close.

  • Extra securing it down by bricks, etc attaching to an existing shed building.
Style: 8x6 ft Clear/Green PE
Pops up like a tent! Make sure you extra secure it! Roomy and I will buy shelving. I had a similar but smaller long greenhouse of the same material that has lasted 3 years.

  • SO much easier than other units of similar size
Style: 6x4 ft Clear/Green PE
Second season now and doing fine. I've been building these other units for like 12 years. They are like tinker toys with all these plastic tubes you gotta put together for the frame and then get the plastic outside on and two years later the UV light everything starts to fall apart and you get another one. Nope this was a piece of cake to put up in about 15 minutes instead of a couple of hours minimum. The zippers were nice and still work after 2 years and if you want shelving inside get those ones you can find for 30 bucks with up to five levels and tubes that slap together in minutes. And it looks like it will go at least another year from what I see. So much better than those other ones even if a bit more expensive, well worth it... ... show more

  • Super simple to set up!
Style: 8x6 ft Clear/Green PE
I managed to put this together entirely by myself! This would be more impressive if you knew me (I am not a clever monkey), but I promise, it is super, super easy to assemble. The plastic-cloth-tarp-thing feels super sturdy and has held up well and the frame is solid! Very pleased with this purchase. ... show more

  • Eazy Pezy. One person can set it up.
Style: 8x8 ft Clear/White PE Deluxe
Love this 'hot house'. I put it up by myself. At 5'2" I had to use a step stool to pop the center up. Re-enforced corners are a must have. I give this 5 stars as it is HOWEVER I would give it more to make some improvements. I added a magnetic screen door but had to modify the top center part for the magnets to connect. If it's windy I zip the canopy door down (over the screen), works great. Make it easier to roll the door and windows under and not over to prevent rain from collecting and dumping on me. Add grommets to the bottom corners of the entry door; add tie downs & stakes so it can be left open like an awning. Move the windows higher and add zippers to the corners of the canopy (half way down), put the window netting around the bottom so the outside can be rolled up around the bottom 3 sides for much better air flow. That's my two cents. TY ... show more
