This shower is somewhat flimsy. If you’re large and weigh a lot and lost your balance, i would think you would break this shower. I am glad we were able to install it as we were desperate but for the $400+ I spent, that little box wasn’t much material.

There should be a ZERO star rating! Follow Up: Don't even bother with this product even the pipe fittings are wrong. Some in inches some in MM. A waste of time and money. Please show a real video of a guy assembling for the 1st time. Uh! No one would buy it. I bought this unit as a temporary install while bathrooms were being renovated. With what this has cost me a better choice would be to stay in a hotel! BEWARE! This product came from a 3rd party supplier says the Mustee people. There were parts missing and ZERO help from Mustee. No warranty either when purchased through Amazon. There were NO assembly screws included. Thanks Mustee! My installer is here at a very expensive hourly rate and guess what? One of your people failed to put the bag of screws in. ... show more

    • Functional free standing shower stall
This is a VERY BASIC shower unit that works for small areas with limited access through narrow doors. I just bought one, a Durastall, from Home Depot for $175 including tax with free shipping on line to replace one used almost daily for over 25 years in a basement bath. It is really not difficult to assemble if you have patience, a helper and watch the available video (link on Home Depot page for it). It is an inexpensive way to get "a shower in a box" which can be go through a narrow door and assemble in the bathroom itself. Ace Hardware also carries this item for about the same cost. It is functional for areas without room for side support walls or needing placement along a wall. If you need one for a corner there are better but more costly alternatives available. It is functional, not fancy. I would recommend getting a better grade of plumbing fixtures if the shower stall is to be used regularly. For basements or areas with existing drains that will not match up with the center in the base, there is an extended base that allows for a more flexable connection of the drain (explained in the video). ... show more

    • Great shower but hard to install
The shower is very good and quite sturdy and we loved the inner handles and soap saver, we had it installed outside for an outdoor shower but it was very hard to put together. We had a professional handy man put it together along with his helper and it took 2 hours. I guess that vouches for its sturdiness. But over all we are very satisfied with it. very cheap pop rivits were wrong very hard to finish putting together ended up drilling them out. metal front rails were bent missing screws. i was not very satisfied but on a dead line so had to make it work

    • Perfect extra shower!
This was the perfect addition to our home while our only full bath was being totally renovated. It is sturdy and we appreciated the grab bars around the middle with small shelves for shampoo and soap. It's all inclusive, with shower curtain and rings included!
