I chose this eyebrow pencil after reading many positive comments on Amazon Reviews. I have almost invisible blonde eyebrows. I am constantly searching for a brow pencil application that looks natural. My search is over! For the last two months I have been using the instant lift e.l.f. brow pencil in "blonde" and am thrilled with the results. PROS: (No CONS observed.) * The brush end is excellent for grooming brow hairs into a neat row. * The softness of the tip is more like a crayon than a pencil. * I am able to draw very realistic, short individual "hairs" on my brows that look amazingly natural. * Although the tip is soft, it is remarkably sturdy. * This high-quality, smudge-resistant brow pencil maintains its soft, pointed tip perfectly during months of use. * I purchased a second brow pencil recently to keep in my travel cosmetic bag so that I am never without this pencil! I've purchased this item numerous times without issue but this time something didn't seem right. When I compared my new eyebrow pencils to the one I purchased last time the color was significantly different. The new and previously purchased pencils both say "Blonde" but clearly they are not the same. Reading through the comments I see other people have had the same issue. Maybe there was a lapse in quality control?! ***UPDATE*** I opened the new brow pencils and compared the pencil color to my current pencil and the colors are the same. What a relief. I liked this well enough that I bought another color. I was surprised at how well it blended and it was easy to use with a twist up pencil. The little brush is also well designed. The clear protector top falls off easily so click it into place when not in use. Seems like a good product and I didn't have an allergic makeup reaction to it. ... show more

I have strawberry blonde hair, and with that I have completely blonde brows. I find this pencil is very easy to use and matches me nicely (I got Taupe) so it seems to look good with a variety of hair colors. My only issue is that when I put on brow gel, no matter the brand, the color that I applied in the morning crumbled and balls up a little by late afternoon. Granted, I have had this since last summer (probably should rebuy) but it is something I am noticing. I use this daily and love it; I find that in the morning when I apply I build the color just darker than where I want it and then I will brush it out and the brush removes some of the product so the color is exactly what I wanted it to be. ... show more
