Since I started using various e.l.f. products to cut costs, I decided to try the Daily Cleanser to see how it stacks up to my current cleanser that is almost empty. My skin has a tendency to go from dry to oily seemingly overnight (most likely due to weather changes & humidity) and sometimes referred to as “combination” skin. I am not a heavy makeup user so there’s no eye shadow, liner or mascara to remove on a daily basis (just foundation, brows/cheeks/lips makeup plus any pollution accumulation). None of my makeup is designated as “waterproof” so the difficulty level to remove makeup is not high. The cleanser itself has a very slight neutral scent and lightweight gel to foam texture that is not too thick or too runny. I squeezed about a nickel size amount to have my face fully lathered up and foamy. Using only my hands, there was no need for sponges or cloths to scrub or remove makeup and dirt. The foam & ingredients are not abrasive so it is safe and gentle enough to use on sensitive skin without burning, redness, or irritation. My skin doesn’t feel oily/greasy afterwards, but it also does not feel tight and dry like all my natural oils have been stripped out as some users have reported. It’s hard to explain, but it leaves my skin feeling clean yet balanced, just not clean and invigorated as I'm used to (both of which are good). I guess it depends on your type of skin, the condition of your skin when you start off using the product, and what you’re accustomed to. Overall, you can’t beat the $6 price tag for a facial cleanser that is gentle on your skin, actually cleans and removes dirt/oil & makeup, and also hydrates. Of course, this is only one step in your skincare process and not the only step in the process. If you have dry skin you’ll need to followup up with your daily moisturizer and if you have very oily skin to use an astringent/toner before moving forward. I’m relatively new to using e.l.f. skincare products, but I am impressed with what they’ve accomplished quality wise while keeping their products at an affordable price point for all of us. 5 Stars!!! P.S. The product is 100% “cruelty free”.

With inflation being high these days and our pay rate staying the same I wear a full face of make up on a daily basis which requires it to be washed off on a nightly basis. I normally use very high-end products bought at Ulta or Sephora or Macy’s, but with the cost of everything rising and trying to live on a budget with a family After a lot of research and reading reviews, these products were found to be the dupes of the expensive alternative brand that I was buying I’m absolutely in love with this whole line of elf products. They work just as well as the high-end brands. If not better they’re easily accessible and easily affordable for anybody on a budget. I have now transitioned over to all of this line and absolutely love it they have the make up remover bomb the gel cleanser they have the toner, the serums the eye creams gel moisturizer cream moisturizer triple bounce serum thirst burst drops. This is an absolute full line of make up hygiene, removing products and skin prep products that work well at a fraction of the cost and getting them here on Amazon is even better. You don’t have to go to the store they can be delivered right to your door Sometimes that even saves you money because when you go into those department stores, you walk in for one thing and leave with 100.

Okay ladies and gentlemen, this is it! This face wash is so worth every penny! I don't wear makeup often. Only one day a week when I leave the farm to go to town. Most days I get pretty filthy working. When I come inside for the day, I wash my face with this and follow up with holy hydration face cream. Using this and the face cream with niacinamide are my new routine. Together, they have changed my old, tired, dry, sunspotted face into a face I'm happy to see in the mirror. My skin used to look like Mary's best friend in Something about Mary. Much older than my years. But, after 2 weeks with the wash and moisturizer combo, I look very different. My face is lighter, brighter, younger, dewy, and fresh! And my spots are barely noticable. I am so glad I found the 2 items! I'll be purchasing for life!!

I have pretty sensitive skin that gets tight and dry with most cleansers. I decided to try this one out 3 weeks before my wedding, which was a bold move for me since I am prone to break outs and redness. However, the reviews convinced me I was going to be okay, and I was! This cleanser suds up a lot and cleans really well without making my skin feel too tight. It does still feel a little tight before I put on a moisturizer, but less so than I’ve experienced with other cleansers. It doesn’t cause any redness or irritation for me, and I haven’t noticed any dryness on my face. I haven’t seen any improvement in my skin’s texture like I was hoping I would, but I think this is a solid choice as a cleanser. I can build my routine off of this one as my base which is exciting to say. 4 stars because I feel like with a name of “holy hydration” my face shouldn’t feel even a little tight, but it’s honestly so minimal it’s whatever. This is still a keeper.
