I have already purchased this item in the past when I was growing in my eyebrows thicker (think if you drew them on with a pen using one line, yeah that thin). They were starting to become too thin for my liking (didn't want to end up with a bald brow like Whoopie) so I looked up cheap products that work well and this was on there, just like the last time I purchased. I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it. I don't really wear make up but my mom taught me to do my eyebrows (by taught I mean she said you pluck them or I will) so Youtube has taught me a ton recently about eyebrow "game(?)". I also have bad eczema and sensitive skin and this has not bothered me (not sure if that's because it stays on my eyebrows only, Don't believe me about my eczema then you should check out my soap, coconut oil and head and shoulders (that's right I used some head and shoulders on my eczema and it worked, well the conditioning kind with avocado oil) reviews). I use the powder first with the fluffy brush (I know make up folks have a zillion supplies but I'm not that interested, my daughter is actually a beauty adviser, so I know how many brushes are out there I just don't care that much). I swirl it around a tiny bit blow it super gently and start at the "tail(?)" of my eyebrow and do a few small brush strokes each going from nose to cheek direction ( I hope that makes sense), ending at the thickest part of my brow. I then brush it with an old brow brush that looks like it was in a fight with a hockey player and then use the angle brush to apply the wax which I use by sweeping back and forth kind of like a broom. I then use it like a paintbrush I suppose starting from the inside and working my way back and do the "tail" at an angle unlike the rest of the brow. Then I brush anywhere that looks too dark with a brow brush and use a wet piece of toilet paper for any make up that got past the intended eyebrow area. I would also like to add that when I am having a really hard time or am in a rush I do a few "fake brow strokes" with the pencil L'Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Designer Brow Pencil, Dark Brunette 315, 0.04 Ounce my daughter got me and then powder and wax over it. And if the brow is staying too dark I powder over and brush. It's trial and error really (I know that is true because my daughter is constantly spending countless (that's a lie because I count them) hours practicing her makeup application technique). Hope that made sense. Not sure if I was helpful or sound like a fool, either way I'll take it. I did drop this after a couple of days and the powder is a mess but still works. Oh and it stays looking like I have eyebrows (well thicker eyebrows) for the whole day. I will be posting a photo of the eyebrows with the random hairs that I fill in the gaps around and then the drawn in brow. These are super close up and it looks better in person.

This kit is pretty basic, but it definitely works! This is good for after you’ve done all the necessary grooming of your brows and you just want to accentuate them. Not bad!

I have tried many other brow products like dry powder, pencil brow drawing, none of those work for me. This is my elf eyebrow go to for me. It’s a mix between wax, and a dry if you want to use together, but I use wax mixture and it looks and feels good. It stays on all day and night!! Love this

Love this! I’ve been looking for something similar to the Smashbox wax/eyebrow powder since they discontinued it years ago and this finally met my expectations. Just wish the bridge was bigger but thankfully I still had my old one in my makeup basket.

Full disclosure, I'm not a very makeup-savvy person, at all. I can handle liquid liner though, and I've always made sure to keep my eyebrows neat and shaped. I was hanging out with a friend once and complimented how well her eyebrows looked that evening. She referred me to this product and I ordered it immediately. First of all, it's an amazing price, which further solidified my decision to order it. Application is very simple. I've been using it for months and at this point I have it down to an art. You first draw in the shape with the dark brown gel, with the included angular brush and then brush over it with the lighter colored powder. I have dark brown hair, but very light eyebrows. Using this kit, I'm able to match my hair color, giving myself a dramatic yet subtle look. I wear glasses daily with large plastic frames so it's nice having visible makeup. I apply it in the morning and the color stays in tact until evening. Usually I try to remove it with makeup remover before showering, but on the days I forget to it comes off quite easily in the shower anyway. I've been using the kit almost daily since last year the the bottom of the gel container is starting to show, but the product still works just as well as when I first got it (hasn't dried out, etc). I will definitely be purchasing this again when it finally runs out.
