I used this palette to finish a concert eye look after applying a multichrome liquid shadow as a base, and it ended up being the perfect companion palette. The color story is mostly blues, silvers, and neutrals, which made it easy to build dimension. I used: • the white shade in the inner corner • light blue in the center of the lid • dark blue on the outer corner • the light blue again in the crease fading into the darker shade The shades blended surprisingly easily for a palette at this price point. The quality is solid. Pigment payoff is good, especially the shimmer shades. I did use eye primer beforehand which helped everything stick and stay vibrant. The color payoff on the blues was particularly nice under concert lighting. The metallics reflect really well without looking chunky. I wore this look for hours in Vegas and experienced no fallout and no creasing, which speaks to the palette’s durability when used with primer. One thing to note: the very light matte shade is softer and can kick up a little powder in the pan. It still performs well once on the brush. This would be great for someone who wants an affordable palette with bold metallic blues and versatile neutrals for layering or building dramatic eye looks. For the value for money, this palette is excellent. You get ten shades that are genuinely usable and blend well. TL;DR: Affordable palette with strong pigment, beautiful metallic blues, and great blendability. I really enjoy using the e.l.f. Perfect 10 Eyeshadow Palette in Nude Mood. The color selection is beautiful and versatile, making it easy to create everything from simple everyday looks to soft, nude smokey eyes. The shades complement each other really well, so I don’t have to reach for another palette. The color payoff is also impressive, especially considering the price. The shadows apply smoothly and build up nicely, making it easy to achieve the intensity you want. With a good eyeshadow primer, they last well throughout the day. The only downside I’ve noticed is that there’s quite a bit of fallout, especially with some of the darker or shimmer shades. I usually tap off the excess product before applying, and as long as you’re a little careful, it’s not a major issue. Overall, this is a fantastic budget-friendly palette with gorgeous neutral shades and excellent pigmentation. The pigmentation is impressive for the price, and once the shadows are on the lid, they blend well and wear nicely throughout the day without fading too quickly. That said, there *is* fallout—especially with the deeper and shimmer shades. It’s definitely a palette that rewards doing your eye makeup before your base unless you enjoy cleaning glitter off your cheeks. Matte colors don’t make your wrinkles show up as much and I love most of the shades. These are very bendable and don’t irritate my eyes. I use the darker color on my eyebrows.
