I did not install it in the ground, I mounted the rods to my Patio post. It's better and I don't have to take it down for heavy wind days.

Took forever to attach straps that never stayed in place. Wind blew it down the same day it went up! Waste of time and money. Now I missed return window by a day. Sigh. Guess it’s going to the dump.
