Honestly, this monitor has been a great surprise. The 240Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make everything feel super smooth, especially when playing fast-paced games like Call of Duty. I would like to start by telling you that this is a great monitor overall (specially when you consider the price). The picture quality is great, though it's not the crispiest, even if you're just coming from using a 1440p monitor of the same size, as I am. This is roughly 90 PPI, and the 1440p one is 122 PPI... the difference IS noticeable. There are 2 main selling points that may interest you, if you're looking for something similar: - 240 Hz at less than $200... Heck, at less than $150. - An above-average picture quality for the price, mainly due to the contrast-y VA panel (pretty good blacks, great for content consumption, though no fancy features, like HDR, obviously). - Decent brightness level (320 nits, advertised on the manufacturer's website). Here's something not-so-great that you might want to now about before buying: - VA is not the best panel technology for gaming, even though this is marketed as a gaming monitor. The season? Black smears WILL appear, specially at lower frame rates. Something to note, is that this monitor comes with the overdrive setting set to medium by default, and it completely destroys the image quality in motion. If you're planning to buy this monitor, PLEASE turn off the overdrive in the monitor's settings panel; it doesn't even have a positive effect. If you want a clearer image, there's a blur-reducing feature that works pretty well, but you can't turn that AND Freesync on at the same time, unfortunately. ... show more

This Sceptre monitor is a great purchase! It’s a slim and beautiful 1080p screen with a 240hz update rate. All settings and functions are easy to use, making it great for those who don’t want to navigate through many menus. It comes with a built-in speaker, so you don’t need to buy one separately. The only issues are that finding that one specific setting might take time, unplugging the DisplayPort can leave a scratch, and you can’t adjust the height. Overall, it’s a great product! Dont buy, the weight of the monitor is to much for the stand to handle only had the product a year and the monitor slipped forward out of the stand twice. The first time thought it was a one time fluke second time the monitor fell maybe only a foot down and forward it cracked itself on my keyboard and now is practically unusable which you can see in the attached picture. My only saving grace is i run a two monitor set up and my other is of a different make and have had no issues with the other ... show more
