I love this little fireplace! It was really easy to assemble, I was a little worried because a couple reviews said that the screws didn’t fit in the holes to put the legs on but that wasn’t the case at all for me. It’s exactly how big I imagined it was going to be. I love the design. It has so much character and detail. It feels really sturdy and well made. There was a little smell when I unboxed it but I didn’t mind that at all no more then good new pair of shoes. The flames are very cool looking and it flows nicely. It was a pretty warm day here today in Boston so I didn’t keep the heat on too long but we’re already getting those cool evenings and chilly mornings so it’s going to heat up the room very quickly I can tell. I tried the heater for only maybe 10min and it’s a powerful little thing! There is a low and a high setting no in between but I don’t think I’m going to need anything more then that really. It would be so nice if it came with a remote but I can get my lazy butt off the couch and get some exercise or either freeze it off or sweat for a little bit. Its not too heavy but it’s not light as a feather (doesn’t feel cheap) I see myself moving it from room to room with ease! The first time I plugged it in I accidentally had my pointer finger on the metal prongs while I was guiding it in the outlet and I got a pretty good little shock so be careful about that! Haha I’m ok

I shouldn't have to scan a qr code for instructions. Hard copy should be sent with package. No instructions to attach legs. No contact telephone number for questions. Finally, I bought this unit because it specifically states "the unit always stays cool," yet the instructions caution unit gets hot. Conflicting information.

This little guy packs a punch. We bought it last year December 2019 here it is November 2020 and I came back to buy a few more. It is very small below the knees so it takes up space I didn't know that when I purchased it though. I was hoping it was bigger. But now I'm used to the size and okay with it. And I am trying to do some Zone heating to save on my gas bill. So instead of turning the heat up all over the house at once when we only need it for one room or another I've decided to get this and put it in the different room so we can turn it on when needed. Only when the room is occupied. Also, if you use it in conjunction with an Alexa capable smart plug you can turn it on and off with your phone. Good buy! 2021/2 Update As of today, 12/25/21 the light display stopped working, but this little heater is still making us happy!

I purchased the Hamilton free standing heater for my Mom who was alittle over 95 at the time on Feb 11 2019 she loved the fireplace look that the heater had and it heated up where she sat to watch TV, in the winter months she ran the heater non-stop about 12 hours a day, with a hour nap time split at about 6 hours we turned it off, I know E-Flame doesn't recommend doing the heater the long but she did. It worked great through the pandemic of 2020, the extra cold winter of 2021 and the start of the winter of 2022. My Mom never wanted to go to a rest home so we made it possiable for her to stay in her home up until she pasted away Nov 30th of 2022, The E-Flame heater worked great for the 46 months we had it for my mom, she even liked the flames even without the heater part turned on. 2 weeks after my Mom pasted away the heater stopped working, I differently will replace the heater with another E-Flame heater I just wish E-Flame had a department that sold replacement parts for their heaters, The heater itself still looks brand new and it would be nice to have the heater that brought such joy to my mom. For what it's worth that's my story and I am sticking to it.

Easy to assemble, produces heat immediately. Can touch unit without fear of burning (cool to the touch). Light enough to carry to another room. Great for smaller rooms. Was able to turn home thermostat down a few degrees and remain comfortable

This is a terrific little heater. I bought it to put out heat on a bare linoleum floor this winter and it seems it will do just what I needed. I love the fact you can run the flames without the heat, or with it. The heat setting has a high/ low which is nice too. Compared to other heaters I have had, this one is much nicer looking, and puts out more heat for its size. It will fit in more spaces, which is important in an apartment. It was well- packed and there were no loose or missing parts. ( in fact, there were extra screws for the legs) It was quick and easy to put the legs on, they snap in place first, then each have three screws. A crafty friend of mine put those in in less than five minuted with my mini electric screwdriver. That was it! We plugged it in and ran it for about thirty minutes. It gave the air conditioning a run for its money, (It's still August), but the outside of the heater was still cool. All in all, it seems perfect for the space I needed it in. I would definitely buy it again. I'm very pleased. .

I bought this because of good reviews, but want to share a couple of caveats, having just received mine. I like that it seems pretty reliable compared to some products like this that seem to give out too quickly. But please note that the black box at the bottom, where the heat comes from, emits a cold white light, unlike the cheapie Walmart one a friend bought. You don't notice this effect closer up or in full light. You see it more in the dark and at a distance. Also, the flame and log appearance are OK, but a bit lacking in "flame structure" as compared to our friend's Walmart cheapie, which also has better log glow, but gets bad reviews for durability, sadly. Too soon, of course, to rate this on durability. It did arrive quickly and in perfect condition. On the plus side for appearances: it's nice to have the white and maroon color options. We like the looks of the maroon one, which will look nice even out of season in our warm Southwestern /woodsy decor.
