I bought this cloth in addition to my other E-cloths (wihich I love) hoping to replace the disposable dusting wands I was using because it specifically is called a high-performance dusting cloth, . It is lighter weight and fluffier than a regular micro fiber cloth. I found that when dusting the screen of a television that the dust was pushed around into piles but the cloth could not pick it up. It actually seemed like more dust was appearing! I don't know if dust that was already in the cloth was being deposited on the screen or what, but the same thing happened when dusting dark furniture. I tried again after washing the cloth and the same thing happened. I went back to using the disposable dusting wand, sadly. ... show more

The people who say that this can really clean dust well and those who say this just moves dust around are both right. If you're cleaning areas that have collected mounds of dust because they haven't been touched in years, this rag will be ideal. Or if you're cleaning a room with minimal clutter and hardly any electronics then this should also do well. However, if you're wiping thin layers of dust that accumulate quickly in a carpeted room with lots of electronics like a computer, monitor, TV, game console, speakers, router, air purifier, etc etc such as mine, then I don't think any rag will do justice. In my situation, I can dust my room twice a week with this but within the hour all my surfaces are dusty again. I also have to wipe something multiple times just to get most of the dust off (temporarily). Whereas in other rooms the rag seems to do quite well. I'm guessing this is because of static electricity; I don't really know. But point is you would be better off using a handheld vacuum in a room like mine. ... show more

This is one of the best items from a wonderful company - E-cloth. The high performance dusting cloth can be used dry or wet. I use it for everything. It polishes my piano dry - it's so soft, it doesn't scratch it at all. It traps dust as well, if not better, than a Swiffer duster. I use it to dust electronics (except for my iMac - for that I use the electronic cloth from E-cloth.) I use it to dust fabric furniture, knick knacks, glass table tops, pretty much everything. I don't know what this dusting cloth is made of, but it is the best cleaning cloth I have ever owned. Not only does it work on wood furniture, but on everything in your house. It not only removes dust, but it leaves everything shining, as if it had been polished. I have replaced all my cleaning cloths with the E-cloths now. I'm such a fan they work fantastic on windows, mirrors, glass etc. When I'm finished I either wash out by hand or throw in the dishwasher on the top shelf. Where has this product been? Love this cloth! I’ve used it with just water to clean grime off leather in our SUV. Stainless steel - the oil on a greasy stove wiped off with a spray of just alcohol! I know it’s for dusting but wuth two sides on this cloth there are all kinds of uses including buffing the grime off fingerprints on a refrigerator. I normally use Swiffer floor cloths for dusting and this will not replace those for dusting tables of nick knacks. The cloth is very fluffy which can be a benefit or a bad thing. The cloth is wonderful for dusting baseboards. Its great for my car's dashboard and the flat area under the rear window. Its good for dusting shiny black glass and plastic(TV stands). Have not tried on construction dust yet. I would like to own a bunch of these but the price is a little steep for that.
