  • It is like a supersonic jet motor .
Color: Ceramic Pink
It’s true. It is supersonic. This is my second Dyson hair dryer. The first one lasted 13 years . Dyson makes a durable dryer. This dryer is more powerful and smarter. The 4 attachments included are excellent and fun. There are multiple heat settings . The dryer is smart enough not to be too hot when close to your hair and scalp. The cost is expensive, but the benefit of this dryer is of true value to me. I already recommended to a friend who got one and loves hers too. I have frizzy , curly hair …. I have a keratin in right now. My hair length is just beyond my shoulders. It takes me less than 10 minutes to blow dry and have a sleek finish. When the keratin grows out, I feel certain I made the best decision to combat my wild hair. ... show more

  • Gimmicky with few Nice-To-Haves
Let me start off with how ridiculous I thought $400+ hairdryer was. This was $500. To unwet my hair. Well, it's a game-changer. Straight to the pros and cons. Pros: (Nural-specific) -Auto-detect when it's placed down is nice. Rarely use it because it's still running, but nice peace of mind knowing I won't burn my place down. -Heat Sensor is sometimes useful. It all depends on the attachments, as some aren't designed to work. -Dry settings memory for each attachment is very convenient. No need to fiddle with buttons swapping between attachments. -Very lovely color in person, I'll embarrassingly admit I paid extra for Nural for this. (General) -Fast drying with minimal heat, no hair damage. (Comment: I didn't believe it when everyone said it was a game-changer but really. I used to infrequently dry my hair... now I just do it for fun. It's perfect right before showering for a night out. Also, I rarely showered at night because I didn't want to sleep with wet hair, but now I can and do so very frequently. -Pretty lightweight and easier to maneuver than traditional. It's less bulky, and it doesn't have a long nose. Feels very nice to use on a daily.) -Thick cables, nuff said. -So many useful attachments. Many videos out there that can explain better than these texts. Cons: -Price. $500 is still much, $250-300 would sit better. There are Dyson copies on Amazon for fraction of the cost and are almost as good. But if you've got the money and the pros really matter, it's still pretty worth. -Durability? I've heard these break often and I can see it. For this price point, that's unnerving. But mine's not old enough so take this with a grain of salt. -The buttons for different settings. Placement is all over and not very ergonomic nor intuitive. I also keep turning it on accidentally when I place it in a holder but of course, this varies per your setup. Overall, I feel like it's a game-changer. If you thought expensive hair dryers were ridiculous like me, try one in-store or borrow a family or friend's.. if they even let you. I guess that'd be the real friend test! ... show more

  • Works Really Well on My Long Hair
Color: Jasper Plum
Used on: knee length straight medium hair, usually after a couple of hours in a towel I hadn't blow dried in decades, because it always just frizzed the top layer of hair while leaving the rest wet, plus left me with much itchier, less manageable hair until my next wash. But this meant that any day I washed my hair I could do nothing with the rest of the day waiting for it to dry out enough. The buzz around the Dyson suggested it might cure the frizzing issue, and as my scalp was getting itchy in the areas that didn't dry out as fast I gave it a go. It works quite well! I keep it on the lowest heat setting as I really don't want to stress my hair (the top layer is noticeably less soft these days; I'm 60, so it's gone through a lot of wear and tear by now). I tried the various attachments, which swap out super easy via the magnets, but find that just the base one is best for me. Maybe a professional could advise me on better techniques and uses of the other attachments, who knows, I'm distinctly out of practice with blow dryers. There's a very short delay between toggling the switch and having the air start blowing, which gives me the moment needed to turn the blower towards my hair. I'm not sure if the feature that cools it down when it gets near my scalp works, since I already have in on super low, but it never comes close to burning my skin. I occasionally use the cool-air-only button as well. I don't use the blower until I am fully dry, given my worries about damaging hair, but in just a few minutes I have it as dry as if I'd sat letting it air dry for many hours, with lots of volume. The fan noise is pleasant as well, it whooshes but doesn't roar even though it has a very strong blast of air. The bladeless opening is nifty, no fear of any hair getting sucked in. I do use some hair serum before drying and a touch more on the hair ends afterwards, to make up for anything the heat does. The dryer is fairly heavy, but decently balanced. I have a very weak grip and haven't had trouble with it. The power cord is monstrously thick. Fortunately I don't use my jacuzzi tub any more so I can let the cord lie in the tub when not using the dryer, and the cylinder of the dryer hooks well on the tub edge to keep it stably in place between uses. I have a handy gfci outlet by the vanity to properly plug it in. It's not neat and tidy, though. If you're considering this dryer and care about such things, you might want to get the associated wall mount for it. The case the dryer and attachments come in is sturdy and beautiful. I have it sitting out between my dresser and mirror and it blends in very nicely. All in all, I'm very glad I decided to try this. It's nice having my hair dry fast again. ... show more

  • Defective and previously registered
Color: Amber Silk
Received item in excellent packaging. Item appeared to be new and was eager to try it out. Turned on the dryer and all was fine for about 15 seconds. At that point, it began to intermittently power off and on. Tried the troubleshooting steps in the manual but it was unsuccessful. I called Dyson Support to see if there was a quick fix. First, they wanted to register the product since I had just purchased it. No problem. But then, they told me that this particular serial number had been previously registered in September 2025! So, Amazon sold me one that had been previously returned and not a new item. Pretty embarrassing as it was a gift for my wife. Dyson recommended I send it back to Amazon, which I am doing. 5 stars for Dyson Support and 0 stars for Amazon. Straighten up, guys! I thought you were better than this! ... show more

  • Magic Dryer
Color: Amber Silk
Not sure what the difference is for the Dyson dryers are but they work like magic especially for longer hair. When using other brands like Conair the scalp damage I get is quite evident but this dryer doesn't do that. While the price is on the higher side, you know you cna rely on this product for years or decades for the older model I had for sure. Size is a bit big to carry around with the travel case but still can afford space to put it in a luggage and the weight isn't too heafty. While it is loud it does finishes the drying phase fast so I cannot complain ... show more

  • Worth every penny
Color: Amber Silk
What a great hairdryer. It leaves my hair silky smooth without any damage from heat. It is pricey but worth it. My husband loves it to

  • Good hair dryer, but pricey
Color: Ceramic Pink
I haven't used a hair dryer on my hair in many years, but am now needing a way to dry my hair quickly in the mornings instead of letting it air dry. I have fine, curly hair and the diffuser attachment works well. It's pretty lightweight and easy to hold for a while. However it's definitely quite expensive and I imagine someone who's very familiar with blow drying hair would probably do just fine with a cheaper product, but I do enjoy that I own this and am not getting rid of it. ... show more
