    • Customer help line is "Dead Air, Radio Silence"
So far, he machine works but the customer help line is worse than abysmal. Dead silence after you press the corresponding digits to identify your particular product. This happened multiple times. "Dead air", "Radio silence" and for times exceeding 11 minutes. Some research confirmed this as a common problem. Their "chat box" was not a chat at all, just a pre-loaded answer to programmed questions. Useless to anyone who has already exhausted their inquiries on the Dyson website. On the weekends that is the chatbox. I tried again on Monday morning only to find that there were no humans manning the web chat tool. This is the worst. With all the dollars they spend on advertising and the premium they charge for their design they are absolutely tone deaf when it comes to Customer Service. It's either a sign of corporate arrogance, corporate malfeasance or simply a case of "You can fool some of the people all of the time, so who needs to invest in customer service" Dreadful experience. ... show more

After 12yrs we had to replace our old 505 fan. Hope this last that long , we run our fan every night love it sound is nice and controls are easy to use.

    • Arrived broken
Plugged in and was immediately met by exclamation mark in a triangle. Didn’t work. I tried troubleshooting but nothing fixed it. Now I get to pay for return packaging. The “letter from Dyson” that claims it’s been thoroughly tested when refurbished is clearly a lie. Would give 0 stars if I could.

When I firth got the product the purified air smell it gave off smelt like a new store. Then a week later it started smelling like a wet dog and I have never had any pets so it was a bad smell to me. I cleaned the whole device and changed the filter and it still sometimes give off the dog smell but it is starting to be faint. I like the device because I live in Vegas where it is extremely hot and it comes in handy to not overuse my A/C. The air has different modes but even at a 10 it still feels like light air and its not the coolest but it may be because its humid in the house. What I like most is the app that you can have on your phone that connects to the device. Its very convenient and it gives alot of knowledge of the indoor humidity, particulate matter, and volatile organic compounds in the room. I dont like sleep mode because it goes down to a 4 of air coming out which doesnt feel like anything. Being that it came from Amazon and not dyson the price was fine for the product. ... show more
