I ordered this because I bought a used Airwrap and it came with only a few attachments, so I was missing some of the pieces I would actually reach for most. I tend to prefer using a concentrator with my regular hair dryer since I like having more directed airflow when I’m trying to smooth things out, so I was really interested in adding one for my Dyson too. This attachment has been a good addition for me. It fits my Airwrap i.d. perfectly, which was one of the main reasons I wanted the official Dyson version instead of trying a cheaper third-party option. I did not want to mess around with something that might fit loosely or not work quite right. This clicks on securely and feels exactly like it belongs with the tool. In use, the airflow feels focused enough to work on one section at a time, which is what I wanted. It helps me smooth and direct my hair without blowing the rest around so much, and that makes styling feel more controlled. I especially like it when I am working on the front pieces or trying to get a more polished finish after my hair is mostly dry. It also looks very sleek, which is pretty much what I expect from Dyson. The design matches the Airwrap nicely and does not feel like an afterthought. In the end, this was a very practical add-on for me. If your Airwrap did not come with many accessories like mine did, this is one of the attachments that actually feels useful to have. It fits right, works the way I wanted, and gives me that more precise, smooth finish I usually want from a concentrator.

My wife was absolutely thrilled to get this new accessory for her Dyson Airwrap! She uses it every single morning before work and says it makes getting ready much easier. The compatibility is fantastic because it works perfectly with all generations of the device so we did not have to worry about it not working with her older model. The fit is incredibly secure and it snaps right onto the wand without any wobbling. She loves how the focused airflow allows her to style one section of her hair at a time without disturbing the rest of her look. I found this hair dryer attachment easy to use. I generally have straight, but hair that gets kind of frizzy especially with humidity. So I typically use a round brush attachment on my blow dryer but that still ends up with some frizz and I feel like I just over product my hair trying to prevent it. I found this attachment super simple to use. I did section my hair a bit as it helps with more even dryness. I followed the instructions which show how to use this concentrator at the right angle. I didn't have any problems with my hair flying in strange directions. I did find my hair to be really nice and straight. I will say though that I do have naturally straight hair with very little texture, other than like I said that humidity based frizziness and probably damaged base frizziness as well. Therefore I cannot comment on whether or not it can help smooth out ethnic textures. For someone with hair like me who's looking for a Sleek hairstyle I would recommend this attachment.

I ordered this after watching a couple videos of it in use with a round brush and some pins to create large "pin curls" to let cool and then release into loose waves. I have medium-long, thick hair that has an odd, inconsistent wave pattern and a mind of its own, so if I want any kind of style, I basically have to do some kind of blowout. This fits perfectly on to my Airwrap. I will say that I have not seen a generic version of this particular attachment, and while I've tried and basically liked some of the generic attachments, nothing matches the quality of the actual Dyson-branded ones. I would call this easy to use, but only after a bit of a learning curve. (Watching a few videos really helped!) And honestly, I felt that way about my Airwrap in general for a good few months. I really did have a bit of buyer's remorse until I really started to experiment with it, and now I use it nearly every day. This attachment gets easier to use (and use effectively) with a little practice and patience, and is totally worth it.
