It’s a 1pc design with the front flap(shoelace part). The heel portion of the shoe is incredibly flimsy/weak, so often times when putting on the shoes it would completely fold under my heel. Initially, I was just looking for shoes that were waterproof and these sure are. I filled a bucket of water and submerged them for a minute and they were dry to the touch. My main two qualms are: 1) It's not actually very breathable and 2) The soles are messed up. 1) I went on a 30 minute walk to break in the shoes and after I returned home, my feet were very warm and sweaty. It was 55 degrees F out at most and I did no running. 2) The sole of the left shoe was loose, but I gave the shoe a try anyways because it shouldn't matter too much if I'm stepping on to the loose section anyways. The main two issues are the soles are being a tad too high and the right shoe's sole has an annoying bump right under my toes that the other shoe's sole does not have. It feels like my right foot's toes are scraping over a mini hill if I scrunch them. Overall it's still waterproof, being the main reason I purchased it for. 100% comfortable on concrete surfaces over 10 hour periods. Your foot breves well in hot weather. No matter how wet they are. On top of waterproof. They’re lightweight like a feather and they take a good beating. Come on people really with the bad comments that’s not true unless you’re probably rough with your feet. You’ll be a fool not to buy these and the price is right. You know the funny thing about it. I have bad feet no arch. So just imagine how I feel sometimes. The media could not be loaded. Ok let me start by saying these are my favorite work shoes! I order these in the beginning of may. Totally waterproof! Today is June 26th and they are no longer waterproof bitter sweet comforter shoe! Light weight!. Now as far as the waterproof idk what happened but it shop beginning waterproof today. I didn't know. This is by far the best steel toe my feet has ever been in. I had Skechers and Reebok and let me say the shoe was heavy uncomfortable and causing callouses as well as blisters on my feet. Listen ladies if you have to wear a steel toe get this sneaker. Lightweight and amazing on your feet. I should know I'm on my feet for 12 hours ... show more

They are comfy, I’ll give them that, my feet don’t hurt at the end of a long day, however they are wet, not from water just from sweat! I live in Texas and wearing these in the summer is not recommended. Will be whipping them out in the winter though!
