  • Step into the rain with confidence
These DYKHMILY Steel Toe sneakers are great shoes to wear. They're steel-toed and durable. They're great in the rain. I call these shoes my rain boots/sneakers hybrid. For me they worked great at the beach some weeks ago. Since they're high-tops, I didn't have to fight and shake sand out of my shoes, or worry about water on them. The water rolled off, didn't flood my socks or get them wet, and even with all the extra walking, my feet didn't feel as tired as they would in low-top shoes. The one thing I've noticed, however, is that the bottom sole of the shoe is starting to peel off some. I've only worn the shoes about half a dozen times since my purchase and noticed this. It's nothing major, but it is something to be aware of when ordering them. I can also admit that they're comfortable to me. Even with occasional swelling issues, I don't feel as though my feet or toes are being crushed or are uncomfortable. And they're high-tops, which means that they make me feel taller and give me better arch support than most sneakers have ever given me. They're great for walking outdoors. If you work in a fast-paced industry, you'll find these shoes to be great on your feet for those long hard days. According to what I'd read at Amazon, I needed only to order my size. So with that said, I ordered a size 12 to match my size 12 shoes. What I learned when the shoes arrived, however, is that the top of the shoe where you insert your foot is relatively small. For someone whose feet may swell (my foot swelling is hereditary, unfortunately), this means that the shoes may or may not fit at all. I decided to do a little DIY on my sneakers by slightly cutting the top opening down the middle. Additionally, with my feet swelling, I've also removed the lace slots so that my feet now have room without needing laces. I would've gone laceless regardless of which size I ordered. See the pictures above. Now I realize some may not want to modify their sneakers, but for those who don't want to spend so much time in the store, a few minutes of DIY can make a pair of sneakers even better. Overall, these sneakers are a great addition to my shoe collection. I purchased two pairs and intend to purchase again in the future. For now, though, I'm anticipating these shoes will last for a few years. ... show more

  • These are a steal, I'm surprised they aren't more expensive
These shoes are amazing at an especially affordable price. Whether work or recreation, they have a lot of nice features. Also, the fit is spot on. I have 8.5 men size foot, but went with a 9 just in case. 8.5 would've fit with no problem. -The insoles not only feel durable, but have gel padding on the ball and heel of your foot, allowing a lot of comfort. I work 8+ hours a day lifting hundreds of pound of meat and my feet always feel good. -The steel toe is thick enough to drop a lit of weight on or kick something without feeling any pain while still being thin enough to not notice it's even there. -Out of the box it was a little slippery; however, after a few shifts, I started to feel a really good and strong grip on concrete, tile, and wet metal. All of this without the squeaking sound on other anti-slip shoes. -One of the key features I needed was waterproof. I work with blood and a lot of high pressure water, and these shoes fit the bill. After dumping buckets of water and hosing them, I felt only the water on my ankles. All in all, these are extremely valuable, really well made shoes for a good price. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone for any purpose. ... show more

  • Good for the price
Bought these for working in a warehouse. They fit well and are comfortable with a couple of exceptions (why 4 star and not 5). They don't breath as well as I would have liked and even on cold days my feet sweat. At the end of the day I pull the insoles out and try to air them out. However, since they are stored in a cool place and not a heated room, they still feel a little damp the next morning. Second issue for me is the steel toe piece sometimes catches on my pinky toenail when walking. Its more of a discomfort than the feeling of it actually doing any damage. I've gotten used to it and just pay more attention when I'm running around or climbing ladders. Overall though, the quality seems good, especially for the price. Next time I think I will try to find something that isn't waterproof since I don't really need that. ... show more

  • 3 stars great while it last
These shoes were amazing the first couple of weeks. So supposedly they’re water resistant, I was working in the rain( light rain fall not heavy) and from the shoes getting wet and stepping in small puddles constantly, water was getting through and my feet and socks were soaked. I don’t always work outside it’s only once in a while so these shoes shouldn’t get wet so quickly especially if I’m working for 5-10 mins outside. Mind you I work in pest control so it’s not often we work outside for long periods of time. I loved the shoes but hate getting my feet wet ... show more

  • Affordable and Durable for the price
My boyfriend wore these for over a year with M-F warehouse use. They ended up getting worn and developed holes near the 1 year mark but that is to be expected when you walk in shoes 8000-17000 steps a day. Instead of replacing, he ended up choosing a higher end brand to upgrade. Great for a budget steel toe shoe. ... show more

  • Decent but feet soaked
First these are decent sporty toe protective sneakers. But they are NOT water proof. I drive a tractor trailer and needed safe weather proof shoes. I noticed my feet started getting wet during the Florida rainy season after stepping in deep puddles figuring the water was coming in from ankle opening. But then my feet started getting wet when walking through snow. Now my feet get soaked just walking through morning dew grass. Good for dry days but looking for better solution. ... show more
