I really wanted this egg chair to work. The frame is heavy duty and easy to assemble. After I assembled the frame I started on the chair part. First I noticed that the webbing on the left side was cut as you can see in the picture. This would not render the chair unusable and I could possibly find a way to connect the two pieces together. Next you have to insert a bolt with a clip into the frame on both sides. No matter how I tried there was no way to align the holes in the seat with the holes in the frame. Both sides were out of alignment rendering the seat unusable. I’ve assembled plenty of products over the years and this one definitely has a major problem. I hope that this one is the only defect and if you order one it will go together easily. It’s a very sturdy piece of furniture and just because mine wouldn’t go together shouldn’t discourage you from trying it out. Manufacturing defects will happen. ... show more

Very nice hanging chair - we purchased the one with the included stand which added weight to the shipment, but the stand is very sturdy and solid. Assembly is pretty easy to follow and can be done by one person - went faster when we added a second person to help. The size is comfortable for both tall and short - I am 6’3” and my wife is 5’7” and we both love the chair and the comfort. The freedom to move is very nice as the hanging joint is singular so you have side to side, front to back, and rotational ability - very versatile chair if you have furniture on either side as the person sitting can be easily involved and look at both groups.
