Love the company and buy most of my supplements from Sport’s Research. The ingredients are great and if you don’t mind a large pill or the smell of lemon, these are perfect vegan omegas. They have a little scent tab like the Ritual vitamins, though the intensity of the lemon is just a bit too potent for me. There also quite large. I take a number of pills everyday, and these are larger than all of them. I’m gonna stick with my Fresh Field vegan omegas, as they’re smaller and scent-free.

Whether you're a vegetarian or not, unless you eat a lot of fish, you are likely lacking Omega-3 in your diet. There are lots of brands out there, but most of them contain Carrageenan. Carrageenan is known to cause intestinal inflammation in some studies. Some other brands of Omega-3 supplements also contain other vitamins that you don't need, nor do you want in high concentrations. I was happy to have found this plant-based vegan Omega-3 supplement. As for why pick algae oil instead of fish oil? Well for one, fishy burps and aftertaste? Ew no thanks. But in nature, fish gets their Omega-3 from eating algae. So why kill the fish for their oil when you could go straight to the source, and consume algae oil instead? It just makes sense. These softgels are easy to swallow, absolutely no aftertaste or foul burps. They contain a good amount of DHA & EPA per serving. If you're a vegetarian, you absolutely need these Omega-3 supplements. And really we should support a company that knows to not use carrageenan and other unwanted vitamins in their Omega-3 supplement. I highly recommend these.
