  • Sturdy enough, inexpensive enough, get your base level and all is ok
Darn good, a bunch of screws but thats a metal shed...

  • Cheap shed for a reason
Instructions are wicked confusing at times. Im super handy but this still took at least 6 hours by myself. You dont really need help because everything is so light. Just keep in mind if you're pushing this up against a wall that you'll need to do the back side first. Also have you're anchoring in place because this is a wind sail with no flooring. Cons: The roof leaks a bit Panels easily bend and arrived bent 50% of the holes didnt line up Confusing directions Pros: It was cheap ... show more

  • Average quality, not too hard to build, watch out for flaws. Can be extended height-wise
The quality and fit of this shed is not bad, but a few flaws need to be addressed: (1) the dimensions are off, it’s smaller than the advertised size. Inside dimensions is approximately 43”x101.5” (this is the size of the constructed frame railing). (2) instructions is generally pretty accurate, but you must be mindful of the orientation of the square frame rails, because there are screw holes that must face certain directions in order to attach the wall panel screws to them; this important detail isn’t mentioned in the instructions, so I initially had a couple of rails oriented the wrong way and had to redo them the right way. Think this through before you commit to connecting the rails together. (3) there were a few missing screw holes and a few holes that weren’t punched all the way through, so have a power drill ready to fit this. In general most of the screw holes do line up well (4) the metal is pretty thin, good thing it’s packaged nicely and well protected from shipping damage. I wish the metal was thicker. I haven’t finished building the roof or the door yet due to pending rain, but the above is my observation so far. It took me a few hours to build the frame and side panels, not bad for a weekend project. You do need to build a flat base for this shed to sit on because the material is so flimsy and will twist easily. The shed is too short for me, so I’m building a height extension by raising the wall where it meets the roof, using 2x1 pine sticks. It should be fairly straightforward to mate the 2x1 extension to the top rails and drop the roof on top of it, as long as to plan and measure the size correctly. I should be able to use the existing screw holes but do need longer screws (like 1.5” screws). So far I can recommend this shed. ... show more

  • Piece of Garbage
Piece of garbage. My fault I got what I paid for. I looked at the reviews and some were good some were terrible. I took a chance. Instructions are garbage. Holes didn't line up. Still trying to figure out the roof installation since it isn't very clear. No help on YouTube either. Save your money, There was a nicer one on Costco but more money and I was short on funds. Hence I bought this piece of crap. Maybe I'll post a picture when I figure out the roof installation. ... show more

  • VERY Light Weight and Flimsy...
I usually only write reviews when a product is particularly good or particularly bad. As you have probably surmised from my 2-star rating, I believe this DWVO Outdoor Storage Shed falls into the latter category. The basis of my dissatisfaction is the ridiculously flimsy metal components. The entire support structure consists of four corner posts which are connected by a horizontal frame around the top. All of the framing is constructed of either 1/2" or 3/4" square metal tubing (I did not measure it), and are connected to each other by use of small plastic fittings. The horizontal framing members sag badly when installed, but are held level by the steel wall panels which are screwed into them. The steel wall panels are absurdly light weight and extremely bendable. Two of the panels arrived with significant bends in them. I have absolutely no doubt that if one of the kids were to bounce a ball against the wall of this shed it would leave a large dent. Similarly, when storing my pool furniture in it for the winter, I found that leaning the lightweight aluminum furniture against the shed walls caused them to significantly bow outwards. Consequently, I kept all of the furniture away from the walls. To say the wall panels are made of aluminum foil would be an exaggeration, but they aren't a heck of a lot better. I didn't measure the thickness, but would guess they are in the vicinity of 28 or 30 gauge steel...not even close to the thickness of the body panels on an inexpensive economy car. Based on the photos in the listing, I thought the shed had a couple shelves mounted to the rear wall, but it does not. Now that I've seen how flimsy this shed is, I realize that the walls could not support shelving. I purchased and installed a separate free standing shelving unit. Assembly is significant, but wasn't too terrible. I had a friend help, and it took us about five hours. The instructions were mediocre. They were mostly on target, but did leave out some important details. This led to us having to disassemble then reassemble several parts to get the screw holes oriented in the right direction. Most of the screw holes were pre-drilled and properly aligned. A handful were missing, however, and had to be drilled. The shed does not have a floor. I wanted to install it on the hardwood deck surrounding our pool, so we built a sturdy wood frame with 3/4" exterior grade plywood flooring. I set the bottom flange of the shed in a bead of sealant and screwed it to the wood platform. Given the light weight of this shed I expect it would blow away if not firmly secured in place. The shed is a perfect size for my use, and certainly simplified storage of our pool furniture, floats, chemicals, etc. We live in New England, however, and our property is largely wooded. Between snow loads and the potential for falling tree limbs, I sadly have very little confidence that this shed will still be standing (or in one piece) by next spring. I've already started to plan building a new shed out of wood next summer. In fairness to the seller, this shed is admittedly very inexpensive, and I guess you get what you pay for. I hate leaving negative reviews, but I would not purchase this shed again. ... show more

  • Decent for the price.
I like the shed for what it’s for. It was missing pieces and they sent me two of the wrong base pieces. Once you get it open to work you don’t want to stop and start over. It took me 5 hours to put it together with my son’s help. Holes don’t align well. Storage is ok. I’m 5,9 and couldn’t move around easily in there. The quality is ok when put together right. ... show more

  • Cheap
Arrived with dented panels, but was still able to assemble. Instructions aren't clear on key steps, so you need to read well ahead and guess about orientation of some pieces. Once all together, it looks good from 100 feet away. For the money, it was an okay purchase. Requires two people for a few steps. No way around it. ... show more
