  • a piece of junk
If I could put ZERO star, I would. People, do not make the same mistake like me. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!!! First of all, the instruction sheet consists of only diagrams with absolutely NO explanations. Secondly, in order to assemble this shed, you will need to screw and bolt a MILLION little holes with the supplied little screws and nuts and bolts. They are about 3 mm big, not even big enough for little fingers to hold. I kid you not, there are hundreds and thousands of these holes you will need to fasten with these little tiny screws and nuts and bolts. Thirdly, this shed is flimsy. They say metal, but you can bend it easily. It's paper thin. When the shed is set up, it blows in the wind. Also, the doors do not match up and close without a gap, because basically, the frame is bendable and pliable. Also, it is sold as a 6 by 4 shed. It it NOT. Somewhere on the post it says it is 67.3 x 38.6, which makes it LESS than 6 feet and a LOT LESS than 4 feet!! I believe that is false advertisement. Because there is only diagram and absolutely no text to explain, it is easy to turn the thing around and install it wrong. I did. For example, there are two latches (up and down) on one door and one padlock on the other door. HOWEVER, the frame that the two latches latch on to has a hole. If you build the frame wrong (like I did), guess what? only the bottom latch will latch and not the top (or vice versa!!) How are you supposed to know this? They don't tell you, and the diagram does not show that the holes much be on ONE side of the door and not the other!! I have never complained so much installing anything before. And my husband finally just plain gave up, calling this a piece of junk. (I've called it worse things than that.) They get you, because, although it says 30 days return and refund available, how are you going to put all the pieces back in the 100 pound box to return it? I want a partial refund for the hardship and horrible 3 days I went through putting this badly made structure together. People, DO NOT BUY THIS DEFECTIVE ITEM!!!!!! I wish I could say more about how horrible an experience this is. Totally misrepresented by the videos and photos. I can't help but feel there is false advertising involved here. The product is NOT as described. at all, in so many ways!!!! ... show more

  • Great product
Overall great value. Sturdy and looks nice. Fairly easy to install, did take some time and the instructions were a little unclear during some of the steps but as long as you pay attention and think about it you can figure it out pretty quickly. Waterproof, definitely functional, great for extra storage or even a she shed etc.. Most spots lined up perfectly but some holes were slightly offset but it was easy to adjust or make a new hole if needed. Great shed for the price! ... show more

  • Pros and Cons but overall were happy (READ FOR HELPFUL TIPS!!!!)
We bought the 10x10 shed, and it turned out great... I will say that they packaged it very well. It came in 2 separate boxes; all parts were included. They put wood pieces on the sides of the box so that it wouldn't get dented up in shipment, and plastic over all the metal sheets to prevent scratches. (This method was not fool-proof, as there were still small scratches here and there. Nothing that a little Rust-oleum can't fix, if needed.) The plastic is VERY thin and was A PAIN to remove! I would suggest maybe taking half a day to prep before assembly; you can sit inside your house and just go through every piece, removing the thin Ceran wrap-like sticker film they shrink wrap all the metal in... While you're at it you can also pop apart all the plastic washers into a Tupperware so they're ready to go as well. We didn't do this, but I wish someone had suggested it to us beforehand. You can also go ahead and look at the "instructions" they give you. Don't like reading? No problem! There are no words in the instructions, only pictures! So that was fun. But overall, one of the BIGGEST PAINS was the door assembly! Just getting the doors assembled as 2 doors was enough of a pain. The 4 short bolts that have to go through 3 different metal parts enough to get a nut on the other end... and on top of that, the holes of the metal pieces BARELY lined up. It took some serious teamwork and angling to get those bolts through. When we finally did, we realized we were supposed to attach the 2 ends of the 2 cross bars for the door into 2 of those bolts... so we left the bolt in, backed off just the nut, added the cross bar and put the nut back on. We decided since we had so much trouble just getting the bolt through the 3 pieces of metal in the first place, it was easier to use this strategy again for the second door. Once the doors were finally assembled, it was time to put them up on the frame. Well, they completely overlapped. I tried to upload a video but my phone and computer were giving me a hard time so I'll just try to explain. It was not a leveling issue, it was an issue of the whole frame area was just too small to fit 2 doors. Like I said, one door completely overlapped the other, about a half-inch to an inch. You are supposed to be able to close the left door, secure the locking pins, and then close the right door and latch it. So even though we could get the doors closed if we closed them at the same time, this was not going to work. After brooding over the problem for a while, my husband and I decided to take the right side of the door frame off, squish it over towards the right more, and use self-tapping screws to secure it, instead of the screws or bolts they gave us. Now the doors close perfect, because while he was doing that, I was holding the door in the exact spot we needed it so when he used the self-tapping screws they would line up perfect. Overall, besides those pitfalls of the assembly and prep process, it was pretty easy to put together. We spent about a full day total of getting materials for and constructing the base platform. (We put 4x4 posts in the ground with cement, because of Florida storms.) Then, total, about a full day and a half put together of constructing, prepping, messing with the door, and all. As far as weatherproof, it did rain today. It didn't rain long, but there were 2-3 strong and short downpours. We did put a construction sealant between the metal shed base and the platform we put in, called Sikaflex. It turns into a very strong rubber. It seems like we might need to check our bead again, because the only water that got in was in certain spots along the base where we sealed it. It doesn't seem to have leaked from the walls or roof at all. We are very happy with this shed now. It is the perfect size we were looking for to store our ride on mower and it is also doubling as storage for all our car repair tools/oil/etc. ... show more
