Looks nice, pretty sturdy, but the way that the gates latch is pathetic. My dog quickly figured out that if he pushes on the bottom of his door it will pop out of the tracks and he is free. I have the "feet" of the door adjusted down as far as I can and he can still break free. My dog has never tried to escape a crate before. He is not a Houdini dog either. He is a verry old boarder collie. Also when shopping for beds after I put it together I couldn't find any the correct size and had to make some. I wouldn't buy this one again

Do NOT buy this junk, It looks nice but will not hold up with my two 4 month old pups, the bottom of the sliding gate door is only held in place with a simple plastic tab. that broke the first week.

The media could not be loaded. I got it today. I’m super excited for this as it’ll be a huge space saver for me. I spent an hour and a half setting it up (directions are extremely easy to follow. You’ll only need an Allen wrench and Phillips head). I was SO excited to get the top on — then this. The screw holes on the top are 3/4” off center from the holes on the base AND 3/4” out (where the overhang is on the front). I did chat with Amazon. They’re sending a replacement. I’ll first see if the top from that fits, so I don’t have to reassemble the entire thing. Amazon customer service has been stellar - they’re even having a delivery driver come to my house to pick up the defective product. ADVICE: BEFORE assembling the entire thing, first check the top piece and side panels to make sure the holes line up. It’ll save you an hour to an hour and a half of time. Once the replacement is sent, I’ll update. I’d usually give this 4 stars. Decent quality - the corners have wear (to be expected from shipping wrapped particular board from China) and the lock is SUPER flimsy and doesn’t really work well. But it has a nice design and is sturdy enough for my Shih Tzu and French Bulldog. UPDATE: I contacted Amazon. It is covered by their A to Z policy. The seller sent me a new unit, I took the top part out and it fit perfectly on the assembled lower unit. It is now assembled and works well! I put the old lid in the box and sent it back (seller knows it contains a defective part. I hope they don’t resell it). The lock doesn’t work so well (the button sticks and keeps it locked) but other than that, I’m grateful for the metal bars with my teething puppy.

I have a boxer puppy (just turned a year old) this is the only heavy duty crate he has not been able to break out of. I wish I would have purchased this one first instead of going through several other more expensive crates first.

The media could not be loaded. This crate looks great. It does take some time to assemble it but I didn't by myself. It's very solid and has quite a bit of weight to it so will not move when your dog moves around. Other posts have questioned the durability of the latch but mine has worked great for me. I can see how a hyper dog trying to get out COULD hit the button on the latch but the button faces out so may be a fluke if it happens. Easy enough to close with a reusable zip tie to be safe if you have a dog like that. I also haven't had any problems with the plastic slide breaking. Mine came with two extra ones just in case, but haven't needed them for my bull terrier. It is on the narrow side so check the dimensions, but works great for my dog

Well. Pretty sturdy except the gates. Do not get this if you have a bulldozer of a dog because the gates are not secure and my dog knocked the gate off and broke the cheap plastic tab that the gate slides on.

I had read a lot of reviews about this product before purchasing. One of my concerns was about the plastic guide that allows the door to slide open evenly. I went to ACE hardware and picked up 5 extra screws to help me if I needed them. I ended up using all 5 because of the difficulty of getting the correct angle to screw them in. I did get them installed. This spring I will make a couple of spares out of aluminum or thin steel. They did send one extra as a spare. It is quite large, but I wanted that for my Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. It will grow. Took me about 6 hours, but was fun time on my floor with the puppy. I am pleased and got what I wanted.
