I needed a bed for the first room in a bit of a hurry and in a form that wouldn’t take up too much space when nobody was visiting as it’s also my Lego build room (priorities). I read the other reviews and was prepared for missing drill holes or misaligned something or another. None of that happened. Here are my thoughts: It’s heavy. The FedEx guy was happy to leave all 120 pounds of the box at the bottom of the two stairs to my porch. And I don’t blame him, that’s a beast of a single box to move. I had read the dimensions and judged I would have about an inch of clearance to get it in the front door. Fortunately, I was wrong. What’s missing from the listing is that this is basically upholstered flat pack furniture. It slid through the door quite easily. Assembly is, dare I say, easy. There are five components, two vacuum packed throw pillows, and a large bundle of hardware. The instruction book is the real tell about how easy it is. It’s two pieces of stapled together printer paper. The first is a cover and component list, so all the instructions fit on one standard sized piece of paper. Nice. After putting the hardware on the two arms, the only tricky bit is getting the main seat component onto the hardware from step one. Two people would be best here, as the solution really is to lay the arm on the ground and lift the chassis over it and settle it note the screw studs. Then one person can hold it while the other person tightens the nuts. That said, it comes with an inexpensive wrench for the task. Of possible, grab your deep socket set to speed up the process. The trundle is mostly built for you. You attach the front fascia to conceal it with a couple 90° brackets, put on some wheels, and get it into place. Others have noted it’s not the softest love seat out there. Fair enough. I’m sure the foam will break in a bit over time, but it’s very firm, almost like a…firm mattress. I do have a full sized, 4” mattress topper I had been putting on the air bed when folks came over, but it will now store behind the seat back and be used when making the sofa into a bed, just for a bit of extra comfort and to hide the split between the sofa and the trundle. All in all, I’m pretty happy. It will do the job I need it for and mostly get out of the way when o don’t need it. Definitely better than the twin or twin with trundle that made it an almost queen sized day bed frames I looked at. And more economical as well. ... show more

You get what you pay for, it looks great and I like the size. Only thing is that it’s very hard, the first time laying on it I couldn’t do it for more than a hour. I think it’s broken in a little bit and I’ve gotten more used to it, it’s working out better now and I expect it to just ease in more. But I was scared seeing all the photos of it broken on arrival, and another review saying the instructions were wrong. Only hard part is attaching something the the part that pushes up and turns it into a futon. But if you put it the right way you’re not gonna have any problems, just play around with it. Feels sturdy and nothing was damaged, maybe I was just lucky. The box is huge though, and heavy. So be ready to go and meet the guy bringing it in if you live in an apartment, they’ll wheel it to your door. I’m 6’1 so I’m a little bigger for this couch, but just my ankles hang off and it doesn’t feel uncomfortable. Good value for money, was able to get a 6 month plan with 0 interest which I thought was cool. The pull out for the futon is wishy washy, when I first did it it would not work the way I was pulling. I think it needs a few times to easy up the moving parts. Our cat loves underneath it so if you have pets be careful to not crush them lol. ... show more

    • Okay for a cheap couch.
It looks nice in the space, very modern. It is pretty hard/uncomfortable as a bed but okay for guests who want to sit briefly. It came broken, so don't buy it if you don't have a drill handy lol. I'm not returning it since we are just using it temporarily, but I would find something with reviews that say "comfortable". The worst thing about products like this is the random hard spot that runs right down the middle. It is also very small, more of a love seat than a couch. ... show more

Cute little couch that turns into a small bed, perfect for a small space or in a bedroom for an extra bed. Couch is a little wobbly, could use a bit more support to keep it from wobbling. If you’re taller than 5ft 5in this couch might be too small for you. The back of the couch is not tall at all and you really can’t lean back unless you slouch down and use pillows. It’s good for overnight guests, but I’d add a mattress Topper as it’s incredibly firm and not the most comfortable for sleeping. ... show more

Agreeing with pretty much all the comments about comfort (it’s too firm for sleeping, but we got a mattress topper), good for small spaces, and relatively easy to put together EXCEPT for when we got to step 4, which is incorrect. At first it seemed like Part E wouldn’t fit into the base of the pull out (Part C) because of the brackets (Parts K). However, it somehow fit when we skipped over step 4 and did these steps instead: DO NOT attach part E until you’ve already slid Part C into the bottom of the couch. After Part C is in place, lift it so that the sofa is in a full pullout position. Then attach Part E — the only sort of difficult part here was putting in the screws on the inside without being able to see all the way, but it was fine. Now the sofa bed is able to be pulled out all the way with the end supported by the base board (Part E). Overall, you get what you pay for in terms of comfort and quality. ... show more
