Let it expand for the full 72 hours, I was skeptical at first because I ordered the 4 inch and it was so flat I didn't believe it would fluff that much. I measured and yup bang on 4 inches. The straps for the cover are adjustable and work great on my deep king size mattress. I wouldn't say I notice any real cooling aspects to the mattres topper or cover, but its super comfortable and that's what matters. I'm sleeping great!

it expanded just fine, no offgassing smell, it fit the bed, washed the zip up cover and it didnt shrink, i dont think its gonna slip/move around......we got the 4 inch because it was on sale, we have always had 3 inch toppers, usually latex, but the price of those have gone thru the roof, so we decided to give this one a try. you would think a 4 inch would have some "squish" to it - not this one!!! its firm, almost too firm. im glad i ordered the 4 inch, if its any indication for firmness, im sure the 3 inch would feel like a slab of granite!!!! i decided on this one because it didnt have bad reviews or a ton of fake 5 star reviews. so far im good with it, we'll see what the wife thinks after a few more days.....i wish it had a tad more give to it though......now to see if it starts falling apart any time soon like most chinese made junk does.....shopping for toppers is stressfull because you dont want to waste $$ and i will update this review in the future with how it holds up and i hope it will help others make a good decision!!! Been looking for a dog bed for my Golden Retriever. Something that she could lay on instead of my hardwood floors which is probably rough on her boney legs. This pad is perfect! Most dog beds I needed for her size were over $100. She absolutely loves this thing. And at $50 you can't go wrong.

Make sure you allow it to expand for 72 hours. After 72 hours, this pillow top is heaven. I used to have back issues from sleeping on my mattress. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on a high-end mattress, this pillow top was the perfect solution. My sleeping improved once I placed it on my mattress. I strongly recommend it. It also keeps me cool at night, which is great since I live in a very hot environment.
