    • Does not fit DWS716's with a single piece handle.
I used the photos on the listing to confirm that it was made to work on my saw model, DWS716. The packaging and instructions say nothing at all about it only working on certain sub-models (identified on your saw by TYPE). My saw is a DWS716 Type 20. Without doing some cutting of the handle body and some light electronics shenaniganry, this simply does not have a mounting point on my saw. Unfortunately, Dewalt sees no problem with sharing the submodel/type on the box when you buy the saw, so if you absolutely want this lighting system, check to see if your saw has the smaller removable section on the handle, before buying. ... show more
