Used this for the stall shower. This is a tough review! I had several issues...1st it didn't come with instructions on how to mix a 1/2 batch, so I mixed the full bucket and hoped for the best. The sponge roller pulled apart about 1/2 way through so I had to pick sponge out of the painted shower, luckily I did have another roller from a previous project. The orange tape didn't hold all that well... I would suggest going over it again with painters tape. The biggest problem i had was the 40 minute time from mix to completion... I do have some runs that I need to fix, i was rushed and started to panic at about the 30 minute mark... i did order a 2nd bucket to go over it again, this time I will do more research to find out how to mix in smaller batches. But the areas that came out perfect... look AMAZING!!

First of all, the item we received was not DWIL, it was labeled Verny and had different instructions. The company did respond to our questions about application and it was similar but not exact. Next, there is definitely a smell. A very strong smell. And our contractor actually passed out from the fumes despite ventilation and wearing a respirator mask for professionals. He had neurological symptoms for a few days. The mask plus an open window plus circulated air should have been safe, but it was not. Lastly, despite using a heat gun to set and remove air bubbles, it continued to produce bubbles for hours after it was put on. I will say it self leveled pretty well after he fell and left ripples in the epoxy, as the ripples did level out. However on other areas we could see the ridges from the scraper that never leveled out. And since ventilation needed to happen there were a lot of fuzzies that ended up in it as well. It was not easy to work with, and I would not recommend it. Our counter will need to be sanded and redone with a different material, or we will just have to replace the whole thing.

This paint is truly excellent. It goes on very smoothly, and it’s almost impossible to get drips. The slower curing time actually helps, giving you more flexibility for corrections. I do recommend paying attention to the proper mixing ratio, because if it’s not mixed well, it may start hardening in the middle of the bucket. Overall, I really liked this product — it almost turns into a ceramic-like finish, very shiny and very beautiful.
